looking for bits and pieces

Taylor had decided to wear slightly more normal clothing in the human areas instead of her usual outfit as it made her stand out much more than her hair would, instead deciding to wear some casual sand coloured torn stone-wash jeans and a white crop top under a really baggy off the shoulder shirt in royal blue with gold letters.

she also wore a checkered scarf loosely around her neck

walking down the streets, just looking around the stores, trying to find a mechanic/car shop so she could get some parts and maybe find a place where she could find base metals or a parts shop to get some body work bits for her landrover

she's tried to make peace with Hellsing...but she still seeths every time she remembers that time

any ways, she was walking down the really busy streets

the clouds had cleared away to let the sun shine, so she pulled out a pair of blue and gold tinted sunglasses, already feeling the heat hit her skin

not that she minded too much. she kinda missed it after spending so much time awake at night, falling into sync with vampire sleeping patters

she sighed heavily at that thought

however, she paused when she smelt the scent of a vampire, suprised as it was recent and a few moments old...meaning they're out in daylight...

the hell? she muttered under her breath and looking around before her eyes fell onto a hispanic vampire in casual stuff

Ignicio, wearing a simple short-sleeved black t-shirt, dark-wash jeans and black converse, with his hair thrown up in a casual ponytail, was on the hunt for some jewellery ideas.

He had many sketches of different jewellery designs and had created almost all of them over the years, but he'd been running low on ideas.

And so he was out in Catania, looking through the different jewellery stores to see if he could come up with some new designs.

In the rucksack slung casually across his back was his more recent sketchbook of design ideas, just waiting to be filled.

Taylor spent a moment just looking at the man and finally recognised him form that time when she first came...Ignico was his name if she remembered

hey! Ignico? that you? she called over the crowds going over the the vampire

she was certain that he was a vampire, his smell just screamed vampire

the man seemed to be looking at some jewelry pieces

unusual for a male, but she didn't care

standing next to him, she looked as well, fascinated by the human's designs....some of them were truely elegant...and some even had elven hints....half-breed perhaps?

aw well, it didn't really matter

He looked up at the call of his name, humming quietly.

He had seen that blue hair before, he was sure.

Didn't remember who it was, though. Didn't care much, either.

And so, when she stopped next to him, he looked down at her with his dark wine eyes before turning back to looking a the different silver pieces in the window.

she snickered

so what are you looking at jewelry for? looking for a gift for a lover? or something else, mister chosen regent sir she chuckled in a low voice so only he would hear her

yes, she knew how to be kind subtle....kinda.....occasionally.....rarely.....okay this was a one off whim of subtlty

grinning, she pointed at a pendant made of silver with pale green emeralds embelished into the silver leaf like pattern that wound around a larger and darker emerald shaped into a tear drop

that one looks nice, don't you think?

she smiled, liking the simplisticness of the piece, thinking of the piece of jewelry her old Lover gave her that she kept safe and hidden somewhere

"I don't think Dick would much appreciate a necklace or a pair of earrings," he murmured, eyes passing over each silver piece in the window before venturing inside to look at the other pieces.

He could quite clearly see his lover flushing a deep read and hitting him if he presented him with a necklace.

Perhaps, if he had still been with Giacnto, she may have appreciated it.

she paused, arching a pierced eyebrow, and leaned over and sniffed quickly before leaning back away and looking back at the jewelry

ah....a similar kind of scent as Gabe in a way

ah. you have a male lover. in that case, maybe getting him a bangle or some kind of wring perhaps? there's some truely elegant pieces in there. but i can't give a proper opinion as i don't know your lover.

despite her words, she vaguely recognised the scent that clung to the other that wasn't his own...she just needed a few moments to remember it

"I'm not here to buy."

His fingers trailed over the glass casing, silver ring glinting in the mid-noon light.

"I'm here for inspiration. Mine has left me, unfortunately," he sighed, reaching into his bag and pulling his sketchbook out, holding it out to her.

The sketches were intricate and the notes around them written in a fluid Spanish script, detailing what had to be done, what stones to be used and the like.

she looked over the sketches in aw, running her fingers lightly over the designs without smudging them

very regal pieces. very hispanic in design as well. i can see a lot of this being made from gold and rare stones. *smile* decadent, but not overly...um...what's the word?......dramatic....flamboyant. they're beautiful.

she flicked through more of the designs, seeing where his imagination was dwindling

she thought for a moment, softly closing the book and handing it back

have you tried looking at nature for inspiration? it would fit your taste for intricacies and the likes. this is a very royal set of designs, maybe going to a tribal or natural design could inspire more ideas?

she didn't know all to much, as she wasn't a jewelry designer, but some of her tattoo designs came from nature, and she found them more pleasing on the eye that the more....synthetic designs if she was honest, as awesome as they were

"I work only in silver. I find gold-" His lip twitched in distaste. "I dislike gold greatly." If he had a choice of wearing gold or wearing nothing at all, he would choose to wear nothing.

He tapped the glass, looking at one piece for a few moments longer than the others before carrying on to the next case.

"That is just one sketchbook of hundreds. I've drawn my inspiration from many sources." Nature had been the muse of at least five of his sketchbooks. Nature was forever changing, forever beautiful.

if not gold, i could see it in platinum, a nice rich metal. and in a pale silvery colour. i think it would look nice.

but like she thought ebfore, she was now jeweler.

she was a killer, mechanic and weaponsmith

speaking of which, she needed to find places to get some parts..but she was new to the town

neh, do you know where i can find a body shop and a parts shop for cars? i kinda need to repair my Land Rover form that incident with one of your vampires.

she rubbed the back of her head, huffing at the memory and gave and almost comical scowl

"Only silver," he repeated.

Okay, tie up. He'd been out here since the crack of dawn and had yet to find any decent muses.

Today was done. He'd try again for another muse tomorrow. He'd hopefully have more luck tomorrow.

"There are a few around. I could show you them."

TAylor nodded

aye...would be nice. only been here a few days and was usually hanging around the mansion to be honest.

that and i got bit by a lycan and still feeling a bit weak cuz of it, so haven't had a chance to go explore lately.....which is irritating

she sighed quietly, her hand going to her hip and to the gauntlet on her right wrist

Taylor hadn't bothered with gloves, but still hid the wounds...she was eaven wearing her high top trainers instead of her boots so her ankle wouldn't get too aggitated

"This way, then," he murmured, cocking his head to the side as he strolled out of the store, holding his hand out for the sketchbook.

Giacinto was the one that usually dealt with the fixing of their many vehicles. Or some top-notch mechanic that Giacinto had flaunted some money at to do a proper job.

But he did know where the stores were. He had been dragged along on many of Giacinto's shopping trips.

"This one here's Gacinto's favourite," he sad, looking up at the store he had stopped in front of.

Taylor looked on at the shop in wonder, seeing all the tools she could ever dream of, body work kits, parts, oils, lubricants, tubes.....and she was suddenly reminded why cars are often refered to as females and are so assosiated with innuendos....

she chuckled at the thought

looking over at Nico she grinned

i never would have thought something with this kinda kit would be in a small place like this. this has everything form the cheap shit to the top of the range stuff like DeWalt, Snap-on, Blue Point, and Mac. it's insane! this is, like, every Grease Monkey's dream shop! thank fuck i have loads of cash form bounties saved up

this man suddenly went up in her awesomeness list for showing her this....this....paradise!!!

"Mhmm," he replied, looking down at his nails in disinterest.

He didn't care much for cars. His interests were on silversmith work or music. Or Dick... But that was another matter entirely.

"Can we get done in here quickly?" Like most men, shopping with an over-excited woman was a daunting and unpleasant experience that he'd much rather avoid.

she chuckled

sure, i'll make it quick your royal highness she chuckled teasingly, going into the shop, noticing they do a delivery service, and went up to the guy at the counter

she only muttered a few words, and the guy was putty in her hands

placing down her order quickly, she said to have ti delivered to the garage at the CdS mansion, and paied up front, telling him they'd get a bit extra if the delivery was quick and nothing was even the slightest bit damage

smirking, she quickly left the shop, grinning contentedly, the whole thing done in a matter of moments, not one for messing around and just getting what she wanted there and then

a bit of a contradiction to most women really

there, all done for the things i need to do with my car. now i just need some base metals and a new set of welding and forging tools...mine are very old and of not much use any more

she mentaly ticked off the thigns she needed off of a 'list' in her head, and grinned

anywhere you wanna go?

"I am Royalty, you know."

The little jibe did nothing to annoy him or dampen his mood. He was a prince; Royalty of Spain. If anything, being called that would have fed his ego.

When she returned, he nodded at her, again less than interested.

"Shall we just walk around?"

bah! 'royalty' is just a title...and there's only men and women behind titles. that's what's important. it's a good thing you don't seem too much of an ass, only seeming a little spoiled and pompous. i've come into contact with really braty royalty that give their status and families a bad name. it's so sad. she said in a dismissive tone, waving her hand airily

at his suggestion, she smiled. it would be a good idea to map out the surrounding area and getting familiar with her new surroundings.


sure! why not? should be interesting she chuckled, flicking her hair out of her eyes

He arched a brow at the woman. She was a little...blunt. Okay, a lot blunt. Perhaps as blunt as Giacinto when she wanted to be.

He nodded and motioned away from town. "The beach is a nice place."

she grinned

as you can tell, i don't care much for titles such as royalty. i don't care who you are as long as you can hold your own, and you seem perfectly capable, so that's a tick in my books. she snickered

and yes, the beach sounds lovely. it's been a while. i haven't really seen the sea, properly, in a good few hundred years since my first galley to britain from america after it was colonised by the brits.

she missed the sea a great deal in all honesty. she had a good time out on it

"That could get you killed." He may have been very tolerant when it came to people disrespecting his title, but others weren't. He knew many people that would kill her in cold blood for not respecting their titles.

"You'll care for the coven ranks, though," he murmured, strolling towards the beach at a languid pace.

"It's been a while since I've been to the New World. A few hundred years. I'll have to ask Ly when we met her..."

yeah, i know. i've been on my deathbed a good many times because of my bluntness and lack of care. however, i've learnt to simply not comment on their rank on occasion. also, of course i'll respect the ranks here. what choice do i have exactly. not much if i'm aware, if i want to stay here that is.

she chuckled

not much to it to be honest. lots of different terrains, yes, and it's beautiful, but you can find similar landscapes elsewhere. don't get me wrong, i love my homeland, i just.....the beauty was kind of lost on me when it was tainted with the blood of my kind and the human locals that lived there, even the local vampires, stained it a deep crimson by the invaders....most of the time i always can smell a very faint scent of blood on my homeland

she shrugged it off, having got used to the idea now, as it was very old history now and she lived on a bloody landscape as part of daily life really in her line of work

"Treat the Chosen Regents and Elders with respect and you'll do just fine. Just don't anger Giacinto, whatever you do." Piss that particular woman off and you were dead. And if you weren't dead, you were begging for it.

"From what I saw, and unfortunately it wasn't much. Salem. It was beautiful, though. Truly."

He bent to untie his shoes, shoving them in his bad as he stepped onto the warm sand. "I would definitely go again given the chance."

she shifted slightly

i steer clear of the americas now....not a place i enjoy so much. yes i love it and miss it and all that stuff....but i could never return...you couldn't pay me enough. even a really good Cold Bounty could get me there.

America was a taboo to her now, somewhere she avoided like the plague

she would never see the pararies and plains, and the mountains and forests, and the wildlife she grew up with. everything was savagly cut from her life.

bending over, she took off her trainers and tightened the bandage on her left ankle, feeling it was getting a little loose, and winced as the bandage on her hip rubbed a little

agh, it was only a little pain. she could deal

at that, she walked to the water's edge and let the water run along her feet and she sighed, smiling contentedly
