Aodh hummed to himself as he shuffled through his room, picking up random items of clothing he didn't know he owned from the floor.

He was sorting through what he owned, picking out some things to haul into Aeker's room and mess up the floor with.

Maccon lay curled up on a large pile of dirty clothing, watching her master silently. He was an idiot... Going through that shit was suicidal.

Aeker wandered towards Aodh's room, he knew the lycan would be moving in as soon as possible and wanted to see how much progress he had made.

He leaned against the door frame and cleared his throat, chuckled softly.

The lycan had a death wish going through all of that stuff.

"Shouldn't you be wearing a Hazmat suit?"
He said with a smirk before take large steps across the room, he wanted to come into contact with a less stuff as possible.

He picked up Maccon and carried her to the bed with him.
"It's not safe down there darling."

He cooed to the dog softly as he placed her in his lap, he had already set his room up for them, cleared out draws and wardrobe space for Aodh's clothes, which he would make sure get put away, not thrown on the floor.

"I brought a present for you."
He spoke to the dog, stroking her head, he'd purchased a large dog bed which he had placed at the foot of theirs, that way she always had a safe place to curl up in.

"Haha, funny," he snorted, kicking a pile of shirts aside.

Maccon shifted when she was picked up. She didn't like being picked up, even if it was for her own safety.

She curled up on his lap, watching her Master - stupid man - bend to search through another pile.

The dog gave a yap. Present?

She was calm until she heard a shuffle. Her head snapped round, hackles raised, lips pulled back in a dark growl. There was something in her Master's room that wasn't welcome.

"I was being serious."
He replied with a shrug as he watch Aodh sort out his clothes, probably the first time the man had ever done so.

His eyes scanned the room as Maccon's behavior alerted his attention.

"Aodh, I think we have a visitor."
He muttered, trying to source out the location of the noise as he leaned over the edge of the bed slightly.

"Huh?" He looked around, brows furrowed. Visitor?

Maccon stood slowly and slid off the bed, padding slowly towards the pile she had heard the shuffling from.

She nosed through the pile slowly, cautiously. She didn't know what could jump out and bite her.

The dog yelped loudly and skittered back, launching herself onto the bed, ears pinned back, tail between her legs. She skidded across the bed to hide behind Aeker, curled up at his side, head resting in his lap, whining loudly.

That thing she had found was demonic.

Aodh waded towards the pile slowly. What the hell had scared Maccon that much?

Aeker watched the dog intently, flinching when she launched herself back onto the bed.

He stroked her head softly, trying to calm down the skittish dog as she whined against his leg.

"Aodh, be careful, if it is alive and about to survive in this bog it should be approached with caution."

He advised as he watched the lycan investigate, there was no way in hell Aeker was going over there to find out what it was, he wanted nothing to do with Aodh's mess.

"Hey, me and Mac can survive in this bog just fine." His room wasn't that messy. You just couldn't see the floor very well.

Or at all; same difference.

He bent to whip a shirt out of the way. Then he gave a deadpan expression as he picked up a sock and turned to show it off to his boyfriend and pet. The dog whimpered and his behind Aeker again.

"Haha, Maccon, very funny, it's just a so..." He trailed off slowly, eyes turning down to the sock. Was that his imagination or was it growling...? God, he hoped it was his imagination.

Aeker went ridged as the sock seemed to make a noise.

"Aodh...put it down."
He muttered, staring at the manky old sock with wide eyes.

The vampire sat up on his knees leaning over to better view...what ever it was.

When inanimate object started to make noises it generally was not a good thing.

Aodh's eyes stayed on the sock as it continued to growl at him.

"...I didn't think my room was that bad, I'v only been here a couple of months and I managed to mutate a sock."

He flinched when the sock thrashed in his hand and held it out at arms length.

"...Holy shit," he muttered as it snapped at him. With teeth. "...How the fuck...?"

Maccon whined loudly, curling against Aeker's back.

Aeker tried to calm Maccon down by patting her softly.

"Your room is beyond bad and what do you expect when you live in this filth."

He replied shaking his head.

"Lets set it on fire, see if that kills that demon."

He suggested, eying the sock with mild disgust, how had Aodh managed something like this?

His eyes snapped up to Aeker.

"We can't kill it!" How could Aeker suggest something so terrible?

"It's my room baby, I have to look after it. What if it's pregnant? It could be having the demonic boxer's children! What would we do then, Aeker? We'd be killing its children, too."

His eyes dropped to the floor and he looked around. There better not be any demonic boxers. It'd put him off ever wearing underwear again.

"I'm keeping it."

Aeker's mouth dropped open in shock.

"You can not be serious? Aodh it's a sock for heavens sake!"

He raised his voice slightly in amazement that they were actually having this conversation.

"You're serious aren't you? You want to keep a mutate demon sock as a pet?

"Look at it, Aeker." The sock stopped thrashing and snarled at the vampire.

"I think it's kind of cute." He slowly drew the sock closer, holding it properly instead of dangling it from the tips of his fingers. It didn't try to bite him, but it was still rumbling with a growl.

"I wonder if it eats dust bunnies...?"

Aeker just looked at Aodh flatly, a glum expression plastered onto his face.

His lover wanted a sock, as a pet. A sock with teeth that snarled constantly.

He ran his hands through the front of his hair and sighed as he shook his head, he could no believe what he was about to say.

"If you want to keep it, you're bathing it before it goes anywhere near my room, it stinks. And you're putting it in a cage, I don't want that thing nibbling on my toes during the day."

Maccon whined loudly. No. They weren't keeping it, were they?

She turned large, pleading blue eyes on Aeker. He wouldn't let Aodh keep it, right? He couldn't. That thing was evil. It was produced by his room - it was his dirty washing. That warranted it to be burned anyway. Why wasn't it being burned for being alive? It was living. A sock!

Aodh grinned widely at the vampire.

"So, what are we naming him?" How do you identify the gender of a sock? It was worn by a name so that meant it had to be male.

He looked down at Maccon and shook his head apologetically, he stroked her head softly, whispering to the dog.

"I know Mac, but he's obviously mentally unstable. I promise to keep it away from you."

He wrapped his arm around the dog and held her close to his lap, he's much rather another dog over that little monster but Aodh was obviously attached to it already so there was no use.

"Oh no no no, we are not naming it, you can name it, that...thing...is yours, I want nothing to do with it."

Maccon whined, looking almost ready to cry.

...It attacked her. That sock thing attacked her and Aodh wanted to keep it.

She nuzzled against Aeker. He was her favourite person of the moment. Aodh could go die in a pit with his sock.

"You don't want any part in naming our new pet?" He pouted as he strolled towards them, perching on the edge of the bed, stroking the sock gently. It was actually pretty friendly when you got to know it somewhat.

He lifted the sock, holding it in front of Aeker. "It's adorable."

He shuffled away as Aodh held the sock out in front of him, dragging Maccon away with him, holding the dog to his chest.

"Not our new pet, it's your new monster."

That thing was disgusting, it was a freaking sock for christ-sake and Aodh was acting as if he'd just found a puppy.

"That thing is not adorable, it's probably diseased."

"Aww, he's not a monster, you'll hurt his feelings."

He hugged the sock, stroking it gently. It purred. It actually purred. "And now he likes me. See, he has feelings and you called him a monster."

He stroked the sock as Maccon nuzzled against Aeker.

"Yes, he is adorable." He smiled. "I'll call him Fluffy."

You'll hurt his feelings....It's a sock!

Aeker groaned inwardly and shook his head, cuddling up to Maccon.

"Okay, his name is fluffy, now go wash him and get a cage for it..him, get a cage for him."

He corrected himself before Aodh could scold him, he could no believe this was happening.

He was going to have a demonic sock living in his room.

"Mhmm."

He smiled down at the sock, stroking it gently as it purred at him.

"Aye. You can go through the rest of this and pick out what I should move to your room."

He stood and grinned brightly as he walked towards the door. He waved over his shoulder as he disappeared. "Have fun."

Maccon whined and looked up at Aeker. She knew Aodh was special in the head - she had known him for five years - but she couldn't believe he was that bad.

Aeker sighed and looked down at the mess on the floor.

"I am just going to burn the rest of his clothes in case there are more of those things living in there, he can just get new ones."

He muttered to himself now that Aodh was gone, he glanced down at Macoon.

"Don't tell Aodh."

He murmured to the dog, stroking her head softly before getting to his feet and looking at the floor, Aodh had hardly made a dent in the mess.

"I'm sticking with you from now on."
He spoke over his shoulder to the dog, she had far more sense than Aodh did.
