Looking for Someone to Annoy (anyone)

Gabriel wandered through the garden, glancing around for any vague sign of life.

Jean had been somewhat... distant recently. He sighed. Whenever he had seen his lover, he had been stuck in a comic. He never seemed to pay him any attention anymore, and when they had talked, he had only felt like a nuisance. Perhaps things were going to end between them. He had hoped that they wouldn't, he had thought that it would last, but perhaps not.

Naturally, his response was to go out and look for someone to annoy to take his mind off things. Or someone to flirt with and screw. He didn't particularly care.
