PostSubject: [O] *Saxophone Noises*   [O] *Saxophone Noises* EmptyFri May 09, 2014 4:11 am

Jason had been out in the town quite a bit. Sometimes to find blood, other times not. It was a night for the latter - fortunate for any human he might pick up.

Really, he figured he should strike a deal up or something sometime. The murder rate in this city must be ridiculous, and he wasn't helping in any shape or form in lowering it. He was half surprised he hasn't been questioned yet.

He will worry about that later.

He had decided to go to a bar that he hasn't been before: The Last Stand. It looked fairly small, and he has recognised a few faces from the mansion in there. So he decided to venture in it tonight.

It was still fairly quiet. Between he time everyone has finished dinner, but not quiet ready to go out. Though an Italian band were setting up in promise of music tonight, and there was a nice atmosphere about the place.

Walking up to the bar he order he new usual: double vodka and lemonade before settling down and waiting for the band to start. Tonight should be set out for a good, but quiet evening.

Fawzi almost waltzed into the bar, her lips pulled into a wide, bright grin.

She wore very different clothes than her usual dress. She wore loose black cargo pants; tall heels and a top that would make a lot of people blush. Top was a liberal description. It was more like a leather bra with straps attached to the centre of the front and back that graduated in length, resting against her ribs, waist and hips. Straps also rested against her upper arms.

And she walked towards the bar in utter confidence. She had no care that she wasn't as skinny as society deemed acceptable or her breasts weren't as large as fashion magazines thought was sexy.

Her dark skin was mottled with bruises in the process of healing and her pierced lip was split. But that didn't take away from her confident presence.

The woman leaned over the bar. "Hey bud, bourbon and coke, please."

Jade eyes turned up from the rim of his newly lipstick stained glass to the swinging door. He was almost blown away from the person that walked in.

They were attractive, yes. And they were wearing clothes that were far from conservative. But what drew him to the person the most was the way they walked and how they towered about everybody.

They were walking with such confidence. And he loved that in people.

He grinned. He wanted to get to know them. And not with ulterior motives that most people associated him with.

He made his way over to her, heels clicking and the black dress hugging his body closely.

"Hey! Nice shoes."

They were nice shoes, and a good way to get the conversation starting.

Fawzi's gaze flickered to the woman that had approached her and she smiled, twisting her foot so she could see the profile of her shoe.

"Thanks. They haven't been worn in a while so I thought I'd better give them some love tonight."

Her split lips turned up into a bright smile. She hadn't smiled so much in a long time. It felt great.

"I'm Fawzi. You?"

It was odd craning his neck back to look up at a woman. Most woman he meets were his height or shorter. And that was usually in without heel.

That name rang a bell, where has he heard that before... Oh!

"Tom's friend right? I only met him once, but he did mention you."

He smiled pleasantly back, propping up on the seat next to the tall woman.

"Jason."

The woman's dark eyes sparkled at the mention of Tom'd name.

"You know Tomaso?"

Jason taking a seat prompted Fawzi to sit down, too. She picked up her glass, taking a small sip. She wore no lipstick, so no stains were left on her glass.

"Is this your first time at The Last Stand?"

"I guess. Was chatting to him in another bar. Though, he wasn't exactly sober."

He grinned a little. Tom was cute, but God he was drunk. And least he could still hold a some-what decent conversation and had been interesting to talk too.

"Been here for two years and I have only just decided to go here."

He glanced around the bar and then at the woman - remembering to look up rather then dead on. It was tempting though.

"Shame really. It seems like a nice place."

"Not sober? Tomaso?" That... that really seemed strange. Tomaso wasn't the type to drink, from what she had seen of the man.

Fawzi would like to think that she knew Tomaso fairly well.

"Is he a lightweight?" She'd have to nudge the Lycan and see if he really was a lightweight. She betted on yes.

"I've been here almost seven years now. I've only been coming here for a little over a year myself. My brother's friend Aodh showed us this place. Aodh's nephew plays live every now and again when he's not looking after his tots."

From the way she talked, it seemed peculiar of him to get in the state he found Tom in. He felt a little honoured.

"Well he seemed pretty drunk too me. Most sober people don't slur there words like that. And, yeah, I would say he was a lightweight."

Bless him.

"Hah! I know Aodh too."

Barely. It was always surprising meeting people who had mutual friends (or enemies). Especially since he lived in big cities such as London and France.

"I'm going to have to take a bottle around his," the woman chuckled with a grin.

She wanted to see Tomaso shitface drunk. It would be funny as fuck to see the woman drunk. What sort of drunk would he be...? Probably an awkward, blushy one.

"Aodh, too, huh? Did you go through my friend list before talking to me?" she teased.

He let out a small laugh.

"Don't worry. I guess the supernatural community is close knit here?"

Compared to the human population and other places in the world. Plus, he guesses that the mansion is also a big contributor.

"I live up in the mansion. So it is not difficult to get to know the community."

Though, he still couldn't name everyone's face. Their were so many people, he was sure it could class itself as it's own private village.

"Yeah, I suppose so."

The woman tilted her head, motioning vaguely. "The coven helps with that, though, I s'pose. Everything's got way more close-knit since Giacinto has been accepting people."

There were a lot of people living in very close quarters. It was bound to create a close-knit group.

He shrugged.

"I wouldn't of known what it was like before hand."

He took a few sips of his drink, enjoying the burn down his thoat.

"Probably one of the nicer places I live in. Though I feel we are going to become to worst kept secret."

The more of the supernatural in the area, the more likely humans were going to find out. Jason had bets for this century being when the cats out of the bag.

"Much more divided. The Necromancers in the area have always been quite close-knit, though. We help each other out with spells sometimes. These past couple years, my spell book has grown like mad."

Like all old-fashioned Necromancers, Fawzi kept a spell book that she filled with spells she found interesting.

"This area is a great place. Better than the shithole I grew up in." Basra had definitely improved since she was a child, but it still wasn't the greatest place to live. Catania was definitely nicer.

"I don't know much about necromancers. Only ever talk to one or two properly before moving her. Always thought you had more of a 'lone-wolf' kind of thing going on."

He guess he was wrong then.

"This place is defiantly nice." He agreed, not treading into personal questions.

"I would go on about the weather and nice it is to live somewhere sunny - but, you know."

He gave her a toothy grin.

Most tourists he met would always go on about the weather and how sunny it was, and he will just nod and agree with a smile in place.

"A lot of us do. I did for the first two hundred years. But sometimes you just get stumped with spells and ideas and other can help you go forwards."

Fawzi laughed.

She raised her arm, showing off her dark skin. "This place isn't so sunny. Go to Togo and you'll see what sunny is."

She had gorgeous skin. He held up his own in comparison. His normally very dark skin looked pale in comparison.

"I don't know, looking at some of the tourists, I would say it was hot."

He made a pointed glance to a couple in the corner. The man's shoulders were as red as lobsters and peeling. It looked painfully sore and he did not envy people that could go out in the sun.

"Besides, even in Togo, I don't think I will see what sunny is."

He shot her another grin before downing his drink.

"What do you want? I will get the next round?"

Her eyes turned to the couple along with Jace's.

"I do not envy people that burn like that," she murmured softly. She felt sorry for people that burned like that.

The woman's eyes widened a little before she ducked her head, cheeks flushing visibly. That was a feat for someone with skin as dark as hers.

"Sorry," she murmured softly. "I don't know a lot of Vampires."

His grin widened, the corners of his eyes wrinkling.

"Even human children know that. Well, that, or they assume they sparkle." He teased.

Though, when it came down to it, he would totally give 'burning a crisp' for sparkling. Think about how fab he would look.

"I guess we can learn from each other."

Despite his 'slutty' statues, he did have an interest in learning. As long it was not one of those lecture things. Nothing can be more boring.

"So, drink?"

"I know Vampire's burn." The woman looked embarrassed, running a hand over her soft, shaved hair.

"I just haven't actually spent much time around Vampires. I just, y'know, forget that you're affected by the sun because I dont know Vampires all that well. That probably doesn't make any sense." She gave a little laugh, taking another sip from her almost empty glass.

"Another bourbon would be great."

"Another lemonade and vodka, and bourbon please."

He fetched a ten euro note out of his purse and let the bartender keep the tip with a wink. His siblings and nieces have just sent him another wad of money. He was pretty set for the next month without needing to stretch the euro.

He took this the opportunity to touch up on his make-up before turning back to Fawzi.

"Want to use anything?"

He offered the make-up bag, filled to the brim and yet barely scratching at his make-up collection.

The woman shook her head.

"I don't use much." Even now, in her bold 'makeover' Fawzi was only wearing a very small amount of eyeliner. She didn't feel the need to touch that up.

Fawzi perked up a little when the door of the bar opened.

A rather beautiful Italian man strolled in.

She leaned over a little. "He's hot. Would you fuck him?"

He stuffed the make-up bag away. It wasn't everyone's cup of tea.

He perked up at the word hot, not so subtly leaning in his chair to get a good look.

His lips curled. He was liking Fawzi more and more. Anyone who he could talk about fucking was top on the people he liked. Prudes were a little boring - only fun to tease.

"More then happy bend over for him any day. Damn"

That was a little loud but who cares? The guy was hot.

Another walked in. By the looks of it, Hot Guy's friend.

"Him, not so much. You?" He was concious to be a little quieter that time.

The woman laughed, lightly slapping Jace on the shoulder when he leaned over, not so subtly.

"I'd rather have him bend over for me," she whispered softly, allowing a soft giggle to sound. She was usually quite a submissive lover, but right now she felt sexy and powerful. She felt like bending a man over.

Fawzi gave the second man a long look over.

"Ehhh." Cute, but not hot.

He let out a snicker, not bothering to hide it behind his hand.

"I guess dead then if we are going to do that fuck, marry, kill game. Probably be more use for me then you then."

He squinted.

"Though he does look homely. Maybe marry?" He tilted his head over to his friend. "But him? Fuck 'til the sun comes up."
