A bad choice of bed

A soft snore grumbled deep in the man's chest as he slept, limbs sprawled out across the bed.

His body was still wet from having had a shower and now he was huddled under the duvet, legs curled up against his chest out of defensive habit.

It had taken him a while to get to sleep at first, not being used to sleeping in a real bed. He was used to the hard ground, to dust clogging his lungs and the moisture of dew settling on his sleeping body.

Being in a bed was wonderful... something he had dreamed of for decades, but it just wasn't what he was used to.

Now he wriggled a little so that his bare leg was hooked over the duvet, toes curling into the cotton.

Dick yawned and stretched, his joints rolling and clicking, as he walked down the corridor. He decided to turn himself in for the evening. It had been surprisingly eventful.

Originally he was just going to tend to Snow, shower, clean for a bit, read a book in the library, consider warming some blood up then giving it a miss before turning in for the night. He did not expect to find someone knew to add on his 'dislike list' between tending for Snow and showering.

He also did not expect to find someone else in his room.

That someone also being the same person who found themselves on his 'dislike list'.

He frowned, hand clenching the doorknob to his room. How dare he. What was he even doing in here? And why would he break into his room? There were perfectly fine dorms to use.

He swung the door open, ready to throw him out only to find him curled up on his bed. It made his skin crawl. He wasn't exactly clean earlier, but it looks like he had a shower? Great. That would also mean his bed would be damp.

Picking a book up from the side table he throw it at the man.

"Oi! Get out!"

He didn't want to be near the man.
