"I'd rather not have anyone die at our wedding."

He said with a chuckled as he cuddled up against her, leaning his face into her hair.

"Heh, I can deal with that, I don't mind being scolded for what happened, at the end of the day I really don't have any regrets, except for the fact that I got myself hurt and we waited so long to intervene."

His kissed her neck softly.

"I love you too."

"You'll be singing a different tune when you meet him."

She decided not to say any more on the matter. Zeke'd find out what the Elf was like when they met. And she'd enjoy watching Zeke scare the boy shitless more than she'd care to admit.

"I'll bring you something nice to eat back as a gift of peace," she giggled softly.

She purred softly, nuzzling against him.

"A little intimidation should go a long way in that case."

He added with a chuckle.

"You better since I have to be on the receiving end of all the fury."

He added, a smile spreading across his face, he pulled her closer as sighed in slight annoyance as the cords with dug into his arm pulled slightly.

"Did lyssum say when these damned things can come out?"
He growled softly, looking at his arm which resembled a pin cushion above all else.

She smiled up at him. "How about...skirts and kidneys?" The first meal he had eaten that she had cooked. Back before they had even begun dating.

It seemed so damned long ago now.

She shook her head softly. "No she didn't, sorry." Her eyes flickered down to his arm and she ran her fingers along any part of it that wasn't taken up by needles or other medical stuff she didn't know or care to know about. "Do they hurt or are they just annoying?"

Zeke purred happily.
"It's been a while since I have had that."
He said, recalling meal with fond memories.

"They itch, it's more the annoyance of not being able to move freely.
I'm not good at being sick or injured, I hate being stuck in bed."

He added with a soft groan as he lay back on his pillows, it wasn't like he had an option at the moment, with his lung in its current condition it was not like he could be walking around.

"Then I'll cook it for you while Grandaddy helps heal you." She giggled softly at the purr, running her fingers through his hair.

Another soft giggle bubbled up. "You'll be up and out soon, love."

"But here's a tip. Don't get injured and you won't need to deal with being stuck in bed."

"I'd like that."
He said with a smile as he leaned in against her touch, purring softly.

"God I hope so, can't wait for my stitches to heal up so I can go jump in the spa.

Yeah well Taylor really didn't leave me much of an option there.."

She smiled, fingers continuing to thread through her fiancé's hair.

"Would you need any help. Maybe someone to wash your back," she murmured in his ear, lips barely brushing his skin as she spoke.

"Be more careful next time you go into a fight." She pursed her lips. "Maybe its me who should be trying to convince you not to go on Taylor's Cold Bounty."

He shivered softly as he lips brushed against his skin.
"I'd never say no if it was you offering."

He replied with a chuckle, purring softly as she ran her hands through his hair.

"I wouldn't worry about it, I'm never doing something stupid like that again, managed to go 540 years without ever touching silver and I have to say, it's not something I ever want to repeat."

"I was offering on behalf of Baba," she giggled softly, nipping his earlobe. "I'm sure he'd love to wash your back for you."

Her eyes widened and she pulled back to stare at him in shock.

"You've never touched silver before this?" That...That shocked her a lot. She had been victim to more than a few silver burns in her two and a half centuries.

"In that case, definitely not, I can do it myself."
He replied with a chuckle.

"Moe you have to remember that I was born into lycan slavery."
Zeke was born human but in their village when the boys came of age the stronger more able bodied men were taken to be turned into lycans and those who did not pass their tests were executed.

"More than 400 years of my life was spent in shackles and cages, the only time silver was ever around us was when someone stepped out of line and was sent to be put down."

"Are you sure? he'd really be happy to help, promise," she murmured before bursting into a fit of giggles.

Her giggling cut short, though, as the man began to speak again.

Slavery...?

"O-Oh, Zeke," she murmured softly, looking at him sadly. "You've been through a lot in your life, haven't you?"

The backs of her fingers stroked the man's cheek gently.

He smiled and stroked her cheek gently.

"Don't look at me with those sad eyes sweetheart.
I've been through a bit, but at the end of the day it is what has shaped me into what I am.

I may not be perfect but I am happy with who I am.

This is really the first time I have been close to someone, You and Taylor and your family, I've never had this before so maybe now you can see why I ran in so hotheadedly when someone threatened what I held dear."

"How can I not, when you've been through so much? Grandaddy's told me a lot about Slavery. And he was from a time when slaves were treated well."

Her lip twitched a little despite her sudden sad mood. "You're far from perfect, dear." She couldn't help but to comment on that.

She wrapped her arms around the man, nuzzling against his neck, nodding a little. Yes...She understood it. "It doesn't mean I'm happy about it."

Zeke chuckled softly, slaves were definitely not treated well while he was held captive. Most of the boys didn't survive the first week after being changed.

"That part of my life is over now so dwelling on it is useless."

He muzzled back against her, kissing her gently.

"I don't expect you to be happy about it, I just wanted you to understand that it is a part of me that probably won't change, I'll always be reckless when it comes to protecting my loved ones."

She hummed softly. "This is your life now, ne?"

Her fingers laced with his as she returned the kiss. "Us. Your coven. Your pack. Your family."

The woman smiled at him, green eyes glittering.

"You're a reckless fool, Zeke," she sighed softly, giving his hand a squeeze. "But you're my reckless fool."

"Yes it is, and to be honest I never dreamed of this kind of life for myself, it always seemed so distant from where I started."

He chuckled softly at her last statement and nodded softly, his face nuzzling in against her neck.

"Yep, and now you're stuck with me."

"This is different from what I thought it would be, too," she admitted. "And, to think, if I had a loving mother, I wouldn't be here..."

Her lips pursed. Heh... She was thankful to her mother for that, if nothing else. If she hadn't given her that particularly harsh beating those months ago she'd still be in Japan pretending everything was all right.

"God help me," she muttered softly. Then she flashed Zeke a little grin and cuddled closer. She couldn't be happier being stuck with him.

"Remind me to thank your mother then, when I meet her."

He added with a chuckle as he wrapped his arms around her tightly.

"You're gonna need more than Gods help sweetheart."
He added, kissing her cheek softly.

They were an odd pair, she was not the kind of woman he had envisioned himself with, however, they were perfect for each other because they were so different.

"You can see what a wonderful family I've been living with for the past century."

She turned her head, lips meeting his in a soft kiss.

"You're far too much for God to handle," she murmured with a little giggle. "I'm going to have my hands full, aren't I?"

She began stroking her ring with the thumb of her other hand. "You know, six months ago I had hoped that I'd never get married."

"Best have someone keep and eye on me when I do, I'd hate to get my suit bloody."

He replied with a smirk as he kissed her back.

"Extremely full, but at least we can boast that our marriage will never be boring like most."

He chuckled and took her hand in his, running his own fingers over the ring.
"Well I hope that opinion has changed now, I was in the same boat.
Honestly when you first met me could you imagine me ever getting married? I sure as hell couldn't."

"Grandaddy, maybe...If he's in a good mood." Coilean and Aodh wouldn't think to stop Zeke if he wanted to tear Kae apart.

Aodh loathed the woman and Coilean was not all that amused oveer the fact that she'd been beating his only daughter.

"No blood on your suit. I want to be able to admire you looking smart without blood marring the image."

She smiled and turned her hand, lacing her fingers with his. "I won't be the only one with their hands full, though." She wasn't going to make life easy for him and play perfect little housewife.

A little snort left her. "While you were snarling and growling at me? Please, the wedding bells were ringing so loud they were deafening."

Zeke sighed softly.
"Damn, I'm going to have to bathe and brush my hair."
He said mockingly, though he was always clean Zeke's style was scruffy, hardly suited to a wedding.

"Yes but I always have my hands full with you."
He added with a chuckle.
"Are you kidding I was nothing but a gentleman when I met you,
positively charming."

"That'll be a sight to behold. I dont know what I'll be more shocked at; you wearing a shirt or you brushing your hair."

Moe pursed her lips. "They're going to force me to wear make up, I just know it..." The hybrid rarely wore make up. She much preferred the natural look. But a wedding was a big thing and she knew they were going to cake her n the stuff to make her look perfect.

"Looks like we're both gong to have to face the horrors of grooming for this."

She smiled 'innocently' at him.

Another snort shook her small body. "Oh yeah, between snarling and growling on our first meet and appearing half-naked on the second, you were a true gentleman."

"Pffft."
He scoffed slightly.
"Hardy half naked, I wear pants...most of the time."
He never really noticed how little clothing he wore, normally dressed in his black jeans and not much else.

He did not see the point in wearing a shirt when he almost always forgot to remove them before transforming and ended up tearing them to shreds.

He chuckled and smiled cheekily at her.
"You don't have to wear make up if I can rock up in my birthday suit."
He replied teasingly.
