[M] An Elder's duty

Lycus had finished the last of his rounds, after having slept for only a few short hours he was up and helping others move rooms, talking with Belial to make sure the travel plans for the women were set and taken care of, he had found the estate well enough, despite the woodlands surrounding it.

Last of all he had returned all clothing and items back to Aleksandr's room, his room was once again filled with only his own belongs.

It had been a long day and it was only just past noon, everything was set for the Faes arrival, hopefully they had done enough.

The Elf wiped his forehead and slumped down into the settee in the corner of his room, letting out a soft sigh as his eyes slid closed, perhaps he could rest for a short while before they arrived, granted they didn't know when that was, it could still be days away, it was all a guessing game from here on.

He had had no sleep whatsoever while he had been away.

Four long torturous days without sleep; being beaten and bitten and jumped on and cuddled and stroked and scratched and nuzzled against and slept on.

Someone had thought it would be a good idea to bring in some puppies and now the group was overrun with little balls of yapping, pissing, pooping fluff. Lycan he could deal with every day; puppies were something he'd rather not have to deal with ever.

Maccon didn't bother him and he didn't bother her; that was a good thing. These puppies wanted his attention constantly.

He pushed open Lycus' bedroom door and slumped in. His eyes were barely open and he could barely think well enough to be able to put one foot in front of the other.

He toppled over onto the bed and curled up.

Lycus jumped up off the seat as the door was pushed open, he was on high alert, he couldn't risk being caught off guard and he cursed himself for not locking the door.

His eyes widened as Aleksandr slumped onto his bed, he had only just got the Lycan's scent out of his sheets, this was no time for curling up like that.

"What the hell are you doing?"

He asked as he looked around, there was no word of the Fae's arrival yet but he was wary already, nearly every couple had been split up already and he had resigned himself into the mentality that he would not be getting his goodbye.

"Alek get off my bed, I only just got your scent off of it!"
He growled, the Lycan was ruining his hard work.

"Drinking wine with your pet goat," he responded in a mutter, curling in on himself.

No one had told him of the situation and right now he didn't care about the situation at all.

He wanted to sleep a few hours, fuck Lycus then spend some time just laying with him.

Anything else could wait a few hours.

"Get off of there."

He growled, flicking his hand out, pushing out a barrier that forced the man off of the bed and onto the floor, if he wanted to sleep then he could sleep there.

"I don't know about you but I don't particularly want to die again."

He replied, glaring darkly at the Lycan on the floor, it was all well and good for Alek, he just pissed off to deal with his pack while Lycus had been doing his job here, dealing with distress couples for the last two days and forcing them to split up.

He grunted when he collided with the floor but stretched out a little and relaxed against the floor.

He could sleep like this. It was fine.

Wood was more comfortable than the rocky ground he had had to lay on not long ago.

"Who's dying? Why?"

Would he have to go to their funeral?

"All of us if you don't start behaving yourself, the Fae are on their way for an inspection of the Coven.

They suspect we're housing half breeds and mixed species relationships and they are sending Xtopherus and Feidlimid to 'fix' any issues that they find."

He replied, crossing his arms over his chest, it seems that Giacinto didn't intercept the Lycan like she had planned to.

That or Aleksandr just didn't care about the Fae coming, he hoped it was option one.

"The Fae are coming? How nice."

It took a few moments for him to realise what he had just said.

He sat upright, staring at Lycus with wide eyes. He didn't feel quite so tired any more. "The Fae are coming?"

"Fuck me sideways with a rusted hoe," he growled, bolting upright and moving to drag the covers from the bed.

"When was this decided? Why wasn't I told? How long do we have? Have the rest of the coven been told about it? Fuck, Moe and the pups... Should I go down and tell them they have to leave for a while? Do we know how long they're staying?"

He ran a hand through his ruffled hair as he stripped the sheets.

He raised and eyebrow at the man's first reaction, he could feel his mood darkening until the man jump upright and straight into action, seemed Gia didn't do a good job of calling him back.

"Giacinto got a letter yesterday afternoon, we suspect they will arrive some time tonight or tomorrow morning, it's hard to say."

He sighed, Aleksandr looked like he was about to have a panic attack, he moved behind the man and gripped his shoulders, making him turn around.

"Calm down.

Moe, Zeke, Cinaed, Luka and Alexis have all been evacuated already, they left at noon today, I had Belial take them to my estate, they are in good hands, she will be caring for them.

The other couples have already been split up, told to pretend they are not together or do not know each other and placed in separate rooms."

He muttered, trying to ease the man's stress.

"Zakhar and Coilean are staying together and we have been telling everyone to avoid Belial, he has bad blood with the Fae."

He gave a low groan.

That soon? Alek was on good terms with the Fae - he endeavoured to have friends everywhere - but that didn't mean he was overjoyed with their company.

Especially with all the 'sin' in the coven by the Fae's standards.

His eyes slid shut when he was turned around and he inhaled slowly to try and calm himself.

"She'll do a good job," he murmured softly. "She'll get to see my great grand children." He lips curled up into a half smile. "I wish we could have all gone to see her. Five generations in one place."

He was getting off topic. Thinking of her always did that to him.

"So we're somewhat prepared. Good."

"In times like this you can only trust family to do the right thing for you, she is your family and Moe is her kin."

He wouldn't trust anyone but her to look after Aleksandr's blood.

"We are as prepared as we can get, it's not easy telling lovers to separate, not when there are so many mated couples, more so when they are married or newly engaged."

He muttered with a sigh as he let go of Aleksandr, a few people had caused him a great deal of grief and it was rather obvious who.

"But it's done, everyone if warned so now all we have to do it keep everyone in line while they are here and hope we have as few deaths as possible."

He added, moving back over to his seat and sprawling out onto it.

Alek nodded.

Yes, she'd look after Moe and the pups right. They'd be treated well.

The Lycan nodded and moved to take a seat on the couch next to Lycus. "And now, I guess, there's just one more couple to split up..."

If all had been told, it was just the two of them.

His lips pressed together in a firm line.

A small smile spread across the Elf's lips and he gave a chuckle.

"Yep, and it's the one couple I can't lie to and say that as long as they do as they are told and keep their heads down then they will get through this inspection fine."

If any of them messed up then it would be their heads the Fae came after, they were in charge of these people and if they were committing sins it was the Elders fault as much as the actual couple.

"On the bright side, worse comes to worst I know first hand we will end up in the same place."

A smirk curled up at the corner of his lip, it was in poor taste to be making jokes about going to Hell but at least it was something to hold onto.

"Yup. Those poor bastards have to go at it on their own and hope to whatever Gods are out there that everyone else will behave."

His eyes turned up to Lycus.

"At least you just have one to deal with. I have an entire pack."

More than just a few people. And Lycan to boot. They were foul tempered creatures.

"We can spend our time curled up together by the fire." His lips curled up into a half-smirk.

He shook his head softly, he didn't just have one.
"Giacinto put me in charge of half the Vampires as well, we're more closely related so hopefully it will be easier than dealing with Lycans."

His experience with the Lycans that night had not been a good one, this way there were more Elders looking after the large group, he just hoped they would take his orders.

"Perhaps we can make deals with Belial in the after life and become demons, spend all day reaping and causing havoc then during the nights curled up by the fire."

It was a grotesque notion but any fate was better than being a tormented soul, he'd take what he could get.

Lycus sat up and leaned against the man's shoulder, nestling into his side.

"Seems we just can't catch a break."

"Good luck with that."

The Vampires were just as headstrong as the Lycan.

The only Elder that was safe was Theodore. The Necromancers didn't do anything untoward. They were quiet, nice, polite creatures.

Alek gave a low chuckle. "Gods help anyone that crosses me if I become a Demon. I can be cruel enough now."

His lips quirked into a little smirk as he he pulled Lycus over his lap so he was straddling him.

"We'll get out break at some point," he vowed.

"That's just what Hell needs, a giant Demon wolf tearing through the place."

He replied with a small smile, at least joking about it made it seem more comical, less like a reality.

Lycus moved and sat up in the man's lap, he had thought he wouldn't get his goodbye, even if it would be a rush to get his bed fixed and clothes washed he didn't care, the nameless Vampires could help with that, he wanted his time with Aleksandr and he wasn't going to give it up, not if it could be their last.

"We better."

He muttered, leaning his forehead up against the Lycan's.

"That's what every place needs. How is a place complete without a giant Demon Wolf?"

His eyes slid shut when Lycus pressed his forehead to his own.

"If we don't get a break, I'll make one. Drag you out into the middle of nowhere and have my way with you where no one can find us and interrupt us. How does that sound to you?"

He rather enjoyed the sound of it.

He smiled softly leaning up to kiss the man's forehead, he liked the sound of that too.

"I'll hold you to that you know.

After the Fae leave, I want nothing more than to just relax and do nothing but enjoy each others company."

And if that company included having sex than that was just a big bonus.

Lycus' hands wrapped around the man's neck, bringing him close.

"Company, body. Close enough," he murmured softly, leaning up a little.

He pressed his lips to his Elf's, kissing him deeply as his hands gripped his hips tightly, pulling him closer.

As soon as the Fae left, he'd be spending as much time as he could with Lycus.

What they did while they were spending time together would be something he'd put a lot of thought into in the near future.

He leaned in closer to the Lycan eagerly, kissing him back and he pushed himself further into the kiss, deepening it.

Lycus pressed up against him, wanting to be as close as possible to him while he had the chance.

It seemed that life just kept teaching him to take opportunities since you never know when it will be too late.

Right now he was taking every chance he could get, their future was unsure, he wouldn't waste time.

He breathed out the Lycan's name softly as he pulled away from his lips, panting gently.

His hand slid down the man's torso and rubbed against his crotch softly, he didn't usually initiate sex, more of a rarity was initiating it when he knew he would be the submissive partner, but he wanted to take the chance to be close one more time.

He gave a low purr as he felt the Elf's hand rub him though the material of his slacks.

It was a surprise that Lycus was starting this but he didn't care much at the moment. He was pleased that Lycus wanted sex just as much as he did at the moment.

His own hands slid around to the front of the Elf's slacks, palming him with one hand as he tugged his shirt form his pants with the other.

He knew what he wanted and right now he was going to do anything he could to get it as quick as he could.

He kissed down the Elf's neck, nipping his skin gently; though, regretfully, not hard enough to mark.

There would be no biting tonight, no slipping and lapping of blood, no nails dragging against skin, they couldn't mark each other in case the Fae saw them.

Granted he could probably get away with biting the Lycan since his healing rate was incredibly fast.

A soft purr rumbled in his chest as he was kissed and rubbed by the man.

Quickly he gripped his own jacket and tossed it off, reaching over to unbutton Aleksandr's shirt urgently, he needed to see the man's body and see it now.

Alek's lips quirked upwards against the Elf's throat as he took to unbuttoning his shirt.

Lycus wanted this a lot. The man was almost tearing at his shirt to get it off quickly. How could Alek disappoint him?

His own hands tore at the Elf's shirt, yanking the material apart and sending buttons flying across the room. Clothes off now.

The two of them both wanted to feel each others sweat-slicked skin and Alek wasn't about to deprive either of them of the experience.

He unbuttoned and unzipped Lycus' slacks, yanking them down as far as he could with the Elf in his lap.

The Fae could do a lot of things but right now, they couldn't stop this, no one could, this was something that no one could take from them.

The Elf got to his feet as Aleksandr tried to push his pants down, letting them fall the rest of the way and kicking them off before moving to unzip the Lycan's and pull them off.

He sat back in the man's lap, not wanting to move apart so far, they had time, he was going to use it the best way he could think of.

His body ground against Alek slightly as he leaned down to lave his tongue along the man's collar bone, biting his neck firmly, he could get away with doing so.
