Plain and Dull Hall 3

Jason was once again prowling around the Mansion - tail high in the air and ear twitching. His paws pattered down the corridor as he turned right, looking around for rooms he could not get in before, or rooms he has not noticed.

Much to his luck, a door that had been previously locked was open slightly - enough so the he could squeeze in. Beaming with glee, he entered the room. Yet, much to his disappointment, it was plain and dull. Undecorated, unlike the rest of the Mansion, with it's windows boarded up, the only light coming from the other side of open door. He walked round the room, the floor boards creaking, checking to see if it was as dull as he thought it was. And much to his previous thought, it was.

It was Ignis, her curious personality getting the better of her as ever, who dragged Avira off through the mansion again. Much as he wished to simply stay in his room and read, he had no such luck. The white cat was insistent he get out and do something.

So he found himself quietly walking a hall, following the amber eyed she-cat as she padded along in front of him.

His long hair fanned out behind him as he walked, purple eyes turned to the walls occasionally, then back down at Ignis, passing doors without care.

Jason's ears perked as he heard footsteps walk down the corridor. From the sounds of it, a Vampire and small mammal. He trotted from where he was, glad to get out of this dull room, towards the door. He poked his head out and looked up, feeling himself mentally grinning.

It was a good looking Vampire, very beautiful. With long white hair and violet eyes. He very much decided that he wanted this man's attention. He meowed softly, and exiting the room. He walked lightly up towards the Vampire, not giving much thought to the other, slightly bigger, cat.

Ignis twitched, halting in her steps.

Cats, simply being cats, she didn't mind. Kittens, in any way, she REALLY didn't mind. But when a vampire was acting as a cat, or hell, even a NORMAL cat, tried to steal her master's attention....

Amber eyes narrowed.

The only thing to draw Avira's attention was Ignis' snarl. He watched in mild bemusement as the all white cat leapt at a smaller feline, attacking it without pause. The poor thing had probably been trying to get his attention.

He would feel bad, only it reeked of vampire.

He yelped, then snarled back at the cat. Getting his claws out to batter her away. Yet, he has never used this form to fight, let alone a cat that is bigger then him - used to it's only form. He quickly went into submission, not seeing a point to fight a battle he already lost. Besides, it may look better if he acts more docile.

Either this cat normally attacks smaller mammals, or the the Vampire knew he was a vampire, that is why he was not intervening. He looked up at the other Vampire and considered his choices - he can either stay as a cat, which may annoy him, plus he would be further beaten up by his cat, or he can turn, but be butt-naked (which was a bit of a shock to some Vampires, since not all of them wanted to see his naked form).

He considered his choices and slipped into his Vampire one, holding the cat out at arms length. "I did not turn into a cat specifically for this, Cat" He glared at her. "I just did not want to, probably, give this wonderful looking man a shook of his life if he was a bit of a prude. Now you made it look worst then it should."

Ignis snarled, loudly. She did not like being touched when Avira had not given the person touching her permission to do so.

Which was why in less than a second she was but afterimage in the man's hands and resting on Avira's shoulders instead. She purred and rubbed against her master's cheek, obviously pleased.

Avira gave the man in front of him an unimpressed look.

He didn't speak, as he had not been addressed, and, after a moment, turned his eyes back to the hall, wondering which way to go. Back how he'd come or forward...

He raised his eyebrows at the other Vampire, realising that he probable made the wrong choice. He self-pitied himself and leaned against the wall, shivering from the coolness of it.

He hummed to himself. Ah well, might as well get over it. He made the wrong, so now he just has to fix his situation. At least the Vampire does not seem alarmed by his nakedness.

"The names Jason. Sorry, but I was looking around that Mansion, which is easier to do in my Cat form, a Rusty-spotted Cat if you are interested." He fidgeted. This floor was really uncomfortable. "And your name is?"

Damn, Avira had to think. He'd been thinking he could get away wordlessly and not have to deal with this...person. But he supposed he wasn't so lucky.

He turned his head to give the man a sidelong glance, not demeaning, but clearly uninterested.

"....Avira Revenwyte." he answered calmly. "This is Ignis."

The cat perched on his shoulder curled her tail about her master's throat, staring down her nose at the vampire on the floor. Her demeanor clearly said; Master I don't like him. At the moment.

Jason pouted as the man looked away, clearly uninterested, despite his efforts. Well, he will keep trying, too at least get on the good side of him.

"It is a pleasure to meet you, Avira." He winked, more playful then the normal flirty one he gave. "I can't say the same about Ignis, though."

He glared at Ignis, who was obviously judging him. Still, why did the cat have to jump him? He thought, moodily. He was simply going to say hello, hopefully get a fuss, then go on his merry way. (A little voice in the back of his mind whispered a sarcastic 'sure').

He then bit his lip, unsure of what to say that may annoy the other man in any other way. He fidgeted about, still uncomfortable at the look Ignis gave him

"You're lucky Caterva isn't here." Avira said calmly. "He would have taken your ear off, if you were lucky."

Ignis rubbed against his cheek, and Avira raised a hand to stroke her gently. The cat purred, arching into his petting contentedly.

"They dislike other cats attempting to gain my attention. They hate it even more when that cat happens to truly be a vampire. Simply introducing yourself would have left a better impression."

Avira said nothing more, feeling he had spoken enough. His quiet voice sounded all too loud in the empty hallway, and he was feeling self-conscious. Not to mention that his damned shirt was sliding off his shoulder again.

The last place he'd done laundry had probably stretched them by accident or something. He couldn't have gotten that thin.

Jason unconsciously touched the back of his ear, glad that the other cat (or he presumed so) was not here. He liked his ears, thank you very much.

"I was considering my options. What would be worse; a naked man coming up to you to introduce himself, or an adorable Rusty-spotted Cat coming up to greet you?" He laughed slightly at himself. "Obviously I choose the wrong choice."

Jason could not keep his eyes off the other Vampires shoulders as one side of the shirt feel off. He had nice looking shoulder, he decided. Hundreds of comments flew round his head, but he kept his mouth shut, not wanting to damage the situation any more. He ripped his eyes away to look down the corridor.

Avira shrugged quietly deciding that the man's choices were not his concern. Ignis seemed to have relaxed back to her usual aloof self, and Avira contented himself to her purring.

The hallway seemed bleak and uninteresting now, and Avira's interest was limited. He tugged his shirt back up his shoulder best he could, but it just slid back down again, making him internally grumble.

He didn't bother messing with it again, and his hair wasn't worth the trouble either. Instead he just stood quietly, waiting to either be dismissed or have an ample opportunity to slip away.

Jason stood up, confident enough that he is not going to freak Avira. He stretched, curving his back and lifting his arms in the air. noting that he was slightly shorter by a inch. What is it with this place? Why was everyone so tall?

He watched Avira pull his shirt back over his shoulder, much to his disappointment. His eyes brightened with glee when the cloth answered his wishes and fell back down, making Avira grumble cutely.

He tried not to comment on anything, but he could not help himself. Leaning forward he whispered into Avira's ear, with a grin plastered on his face; "You should keep it like that." not his best comment, but it was a tamest he could think of at this moment.

Avira didn't quite care when the other vampire stood. He'd seen men naked, it wasn't shocking. Perhaps a little impolite, but he'd dealt with worse, so he didn't really care.

Brushing a lock of hair behind his ear, he froze when a voice sounded from beside his ear. Not that he hadn't seen Jason move, he just hadn't been expecting it was all.

A soft flush dusted his cheeks as the other vampire purred into his ear. He wondered if perhaps it was his damn shirts that kept getting him into trouble with the populous of the manor.

He shifted back shyly, blush still on his cheeks.

"I don't know what you mean." he muttered.

Jason had to stop himself for squealing when he provoked the blush out of Avira. He grinned, lopsidedly, taking in the adorable sight of Avira going pink.

He licked his lips, and moved closer to the other Vampires ear, lifting his head up slightly. "I think you know exactly what I am talking about." He pecked the warm ears.

"And I have to say, it makes you quite..." He licked his lips. "Sensational. As any beautiful person would look, looking like yourself."

Lips brushed his ear and Avira only blushed darker. Ignis' claws dug into his shoulder, watching the naked vampire warily. If her master leaned away anymore she'd fall. Ergo have to jump off his shoulder.

Avira however, was mentally trying not to completely melt down. He'd just been given two to three compliments in a row, and whatever part of him left that knew what emotional interaction was, whispered he was being hit on. Then of course, it remembered that Avira wasn't quite up to date with slang, smacked its forehead and rephrased that he was being flirted with.

Avira turned away to hide his blush, averting his eyes to the floor.

"I really haven't the faintest what you are talking about sir." he mumbled incoherently.

He willed himself back under control.

He felt a spark of excitement as Avira blushed darker, turning away from him. Bless him, he seemed so innocent to these kind of acts. It made him want to just ravish him. But he refrained himself, taking it slow... Sort of.

'Sir'. He liked that, despite it not being a tern of endearment. He kissed the Vampire again on the ear. "Will this prompt you, gorgeous?"

He bent down slightly and kissed the others exposed shoulder, before standing up straight again, smirking.

Avira bit down a yelp when lips pressed to his ear again, then to his bare shoulder. His cheeks were flaming by now, and Ignis was giving him a weird look. Or, well, a look that plainly said 'oh great you're getting yourself into trouble again'.

Avira spun around, stepping back and giving the other vampire a glare....Which wasn't quite effective, seeing as his cheeks were still red.

"Just what do you think you're doing." he asked, voice still calm and quick.

Ignis' tail flicked, eyeing the other vampire carefully.

He stepped back slightly, trying to stop himself from giggling at the adorable expression. Gah, he was too cute for words. Even when he seemed annoys, glaring at him, and speaking in a serious voice with that blush across his face.

"Why, I am flirting with a pretty Vampire called Avira~" He sung, grinning from ear to ear. He lent against the wall opposite Avira, watch him, trying too hold back.

"But if you don't want to continue, then we could just talk." he smiled and lent this head to the side, watching Avira to see what he would do next.

Avira brushed his front of imaginary dust. In moments, he'd controlled his bodily reactions, and his blush was gone, his passive face back in place.

He wasn't quite sure what to do with this situation. Just leaving would be rude, and his personality did not allow.

"Such blatant advances are what is considered flirting in modern day?" he said calmly. "How tasteless. And tactless."

He watched in amazement as Avira quickly removed his blush, which he found fairly impresive - which showed on his face. "Impressive little skill you have there, composing so quickly."

"I will tell you this, while it may seem tasteless and tactless, it is a hell of a lot fasted then courting." He grinned, despite the blatant insult.

Avira quirked an eyebrow.

"Quicker is not always better." he said.

Is this what flirting had been reduced to? No wonder he'd never bothered to keep up with social adaptations. Not that this was particularly vulgar, just not his style. He'd seen worse.

"Impressions are best left with words, not touches."

Ignicio had strolled into the hall, his violin over his shoulder.

He had just caught Avira's last sentence and, of course, had to say something. "Words can be just as, if not more, vulgar than touches, Avi~"

He grinned widely. "Evening, Avira, Jason. How has the night been treating you so far?"

Naturally.

Just when someone was twisting his stomach and making him nervous, IGNICIO had to show up. Avira still had no idea what had possessed him to do....whatever happened up on the roof, but he was trying his hardest to put it from his mind. Possibly forever.

He was glad, at the least, that Ignicio was behind Jason and therefore he still had someplace to run, should he need to.

He turned his head away from Ignicio, blatantly ignoring the coven leader. He would just have to act as though he had no interest in either man present.

Ignis gave him a questioning look but for once, he ignored her.

"Nah, depends on what it is for, love should be slow." He tried not to make his smile wider. "Sex, well the build up to it, should be fast. Actual sex should not be fast, other wise it is less satisfying."

He was about to speak to Avira again, when he heard Ignicio's voice. He smirked and winked at him flirtatiously.

"Well, the night look up to be good, but it dwindled into nothing." He pouted slightly towards Avira, giving off an air of sulkiness.
