[C][AU] No Harm In Camping

Lucas shook Fleck's arm off and straightened himself. This was happening more times than Lucas liked.

Amr almost leapt around in his seat now they were not at risk of crashing. His grin dropped into a grimace.

"Honestly, Tik, could you of not held that in?"

Tik glared up at his brother through his dark hair.

Did he think he was throwing up for fun? Motion sickness was horrific. He wasn't sick for the sake of it.

"Let's go exploring," Anna decided, pushing off the control panel and stepping over the puddle of sick.

Exploring was the best way of finding out where the fuck they were.

Amr ignored his brothers glare. Jumping out of his seat.

"I am totally up for exploring! I wanna see who is in the alien castle! Come on Tik. We are exploring."

Lucas also stepped over the sick to follow Anna out of the lion.

"Are we really going to step out of our airtight ship before finding out whether the air is poisonous or not?" Fleck asked, crossing his arms over his chest.

He didn't want to leave this ship without knowing that he could actually breathe.

Anna's eyes turned to Fleck. "Poisonous air?" she queried. Her species, and actually quite a few species she knew, had adjusting biologies. Their bodies adjusted to the air around them. She honestly didn't know that many species that didn't.

Were humans really so under developed that they could only breathe one type of air?

Amr slumped.

"Awe man."

"We can't just stay," Lucas pointed out. "We will just end up slowly loseing oxygen in here..." His voice trailed off in thought. How even was this lion producing oxygen.? It wasn't like they had time to check before blasting off into space.

"You, angry one, come with me."

Anna gestured for Lucas to follow her. If the air was poisonous to their kind, at least she'd be doing them a favour by picking off the most annoying one to test it on.

"Amr, let us out," she ordered.

Lucas furrowed his eyebrows, but followed. Didn't they just exchanged names ten minutes ago?

"I don't know if it can - wait. Nope, I know."

Amr opened the airlock to let them out and watched it shut behind them.

Anna landed nimbly on the ground, then padded forwards, carelessly on bare feet. Her soles were so thick now, after spending the majority of her life without shoes that she could walk across shattered glass and hardly care.

She looked around. The planet was green. That was the first good thing about it. If it was green, it was habitable.

"Let's look for signs of life. They may be able to tell us what galaxy we're in." Then she could work on a plan to get herself home.

Lucas took a deep breath in. It was good to breath fresh air that didn't stink of sick. Or was poisonous.

He jumped and followed Anna to the ground, grunting.

Looking around it seemed no different to earth. Other then the tree looked a little funny and he had never seen flowers like that before.

"The castle is a good place to start."

Although, even from here it looked empty. No one was was out and about it. There weren't even any guards stationed outside by the looks of it.

"If you think that's true, you have very strange monarchies on your planet."

She'd much rather find a village. Villagers were likely to be more friendly. It was rare that monarchs, especially ones that lived in such grand castles as that one, weren't pleasant, nor were they prone to help others.

"We'll search the surrounding area first, and if we can't find a village quickly, we'll check that castle of yours."

"They are either dead or useless." Lucas answered, eyeing the surrounding area.

It was fairly flat with a few rolling hills. There was a mountain range in the distance. A few trees and bushes, but otherwise no dense forest. Overall, it looked deserted. If the castle was anything to go by, he would of expected a large and grand village near by.

"It is the only bit of civilization here. Why waste our time walking about when there something right in front of us?"

"Because I don't trust monarchy."

She never gad. There was too much shit involved in them. She wanted to be as far away from them as possible.

There she was being vague again.

"Fine. We will find some village or something."

Lucas began moving walking towards the hills. If there was any other civilization around, they could be tucked away there.

Anna had been searching for at least twenty minutes, with Lucas steaming behind her, before she gave up.

She hissed, literally hissed, a sigh and turned to the human.

"All right, let's try it your way. We're bringing the rest of your entourage with us." If they were going to storm a castle, she wasn't going to do it with just one boy at her back.

"Finally."

The only living things around here were some fucked up butterflies.

Amr perked up from his seat, where he was toying around with a game on his phone when he spotted Lucas waving at them. He grinned.

"Lucas is still alive, so I'm out of here."

He opened the air lock and clambered out of the lion, running up to the shorter two with glee.

"Did you find anything?"

"No."

Anna slid her staff from its strap on her thigh and flicked it to extend it.

"Gather your friends. We're going to investigate the castle

Amr turned. Were they still in there? He thought Fleck and Tik were following him.

He began waving instead. A lot more enthusiastic than Lucas; using both arms and jumping up and down.

"Hey! We're going to explore the alien castle! Come down here!"

As Anna pulled out her staff, Lucas took it as a cue to pull out his knife. He wasn't going to let her be the only one walking around with a drawn weapon.

Amr turned back around to them. He held up his hands and took a step back.

"Wow, can you guys both like, you know, chill?"

"Not when we're about to walk into a potentially hostile castle," was Anna's firm reply.

She wasn't likely to chill until she was reporting back to Tamara.

"What castle's potentially hostile?" Fleck asked as he sidled up to them. Tik was behind him, looking tired and grumpy.

The Italian tilted his head. "That one? It looks dead. I doubt it'll be inhabited."

Lucas hummed in agreement, beginning to make his way over to it.

"We had a look around and there is nothing else out here. They whole place seems uninhabited."

They should have checked the castle out first rather than waste their time.

Amr wrapped his arm around Tik.

"Isn't this super exciting? Now that we don't have aliens shooting at us. I wonder if this is gonna be like that Disney film. You know? Sleeping Beauty? But alien version."

"Good." Anna didn't want a potential fight in an area of the universe that she didn't know, with no solid way of getting back to base.

"Exciting isn't the word I would use." Horrifying was more like it. So far he'd been yelled at in a language he didn't understand by an angry teenager, found a fucking alien spaceship, witnessed a cave in that could have very well killed him, gotten a concussion, been healed by an alien that he thought was going to kill him, and ended up travelling through a wormhole to a planet who knows how far from Earth. All the while he'd thrown up numerous times.

"What about this reminds you of Sleeping Beauty?"

"Hey, don't be like that." He gave his brother's shoulder a little squeeze.

"And it is totally like sleeping beauty. The deserted but majestic castle. Inside there will be a beautiful alien princess. We will fall in love and get married. In space. Instead of a dragon, there is a lion. Which is on our side."

He grinned down at his brother, squeezing his shoulder again.

Tik turned dark eyes to his brother.

"Yes, forgive me," he said with biting sarcasm. "This situation is exactly like Sleeping Beauty. How could I not see that?"

The idea of Amr finding someone that would deal with his ass long enough to get married was certainly a fantastic fairy tail, indeed.

Amr didn't miss the sarcasm.

With another laugh he shoved him slightly.

"Or maybe they will fall in love with you, who knows? I won't get between you and your true love if it comes to it, Tik. Promise."

He nudged Amr back firmly.

"Yes, we're likely to meet someone who speaks Arabic or Demotic out here."

He wasn't likely to be able to even communicate with anyone here beside his little brother, let alone fall in love.

"Hey, they are aliens. Maybe they can speak every language in the universe. Or have translators. Or l... Something."

Lucas turned and narrowed his eyes at Amr.

"You know if the place is inhabited and not hostile the last this we need is you loudly chatting and giving us away."

"Um, I think the element of surprise was taken away by the fact we landed here in a giant blue lion."

Amr unhooked his arm around Tik to catch up with the others.

"Besides, I don't think this place is hostile. This is Blue's home."
