[C][AU] Whispers

Tawaret laid in bed, clad in a sheer night gown, toying idly with a bead decorating her long hair, that she'd styled into long braids, decorated with jewelled beads.

She knew just how much Tamara enjoyed her wearing her hair in braids. It gave her something to yank her around with, after all. Tawaret thought about the luxuries her lover would enjoy a lot.

Especially when those luxuries afforded her this lovely room, a full belly and satisfaction almost every night.

Her eyes flickered up to the door again, hoping that Tamara would come and join her, to rid her of her boredom.

Tamara opened the door to her rented room and stopped. Leaning on the frame, she took a moment to let her eyes roam over her lover. Slowly and appreciatively along her long legs to the exaggerated curves of her body and then up to her eyes. She held them, lips curving into a smile.

"I swear every time I look at you, you become more and more beautiful."

It was cheesy, she knew. But it was the truth.

"You wouldn't believe what I was hearing downstairs," she said, continuing her way over to Taw to settle down on the bed. "You would think everyone became delusional as if it wasn't just last week they all believed there was no hope for the universe. In fact, I was sure they were placing bets on which planet was next to be destroyed by the Galra."

"Because every time you look at me, you buy me even more beautiful clothing." She swept one arm out to show off the trailing sleeves of her sheer gown. "Do you like?"

Tawaret hummed disinterestedly. She didn't spent enough time downstairs to listen to much of their gossip. She didn't know what they were whispering about.

She did, however, spend enough time to place bets. "The mining planet, in the Calron galaxy. I have five coins riding on that. Will you tell me when you find out their next conquest? I need to know whether to collect owed debts or not."

He hands ran down the curves of her body to rest on her hips, sheer fabric smoothing out under the palm. It was one of the most luxurious fabrics in the world. Soft and silky to the touch, but incredibly hard to tear. Tamara has tried.

"Well, you would have been very rich if it wasn't for some children's tale saving it. Or at least - that is how the rumours go," she hastily added.

Taw's eyes slid shut, just enjoying the feeling of hands stroking down over her body.

"What?"

Her eyes snapped open, and a little pout formed on her lips.

"Someone fought the Galra for that planet?"

Tamara hummed, hands slipping lower over to her thighs.

"Not just anyone. Voltron."

She had to roll her eyes as she said it. It was just ridiculous.

"It was probably just the resistance trying to inspire hope or some shit like that. I bet there wasn't even much of a fight either. With how quickly the Galra go through mining planets, there wouldn't have been many stationed on a dead one."

"Voltron?"

Her voice took on the same disbelief.

Voltron, the silly children's tale that even she hadn't ever believed? The ten thousand year old robot that saved people from danger?

Taw shook her head as she dropped back to lay spread-eagle on the bed. "My chance at being rich dashed by a fairy tale."

"Then it is a good thing you have me then to shower you in riches."

One of the unique properties of her peace-loving race was the ability to charm others. Get them to listen and reason with you in an almost trance like state. Fantastic for diplomacy. Also fantastic for stealing.

She crawled on top, hands resting either said of Taws head.

"Although, maybe next time you should bet that Alteans will magically pop back up. At this rate, anything is possible."

"Yes, I suppose it is."

When Tamara crawled over her like some sort of predator, she raised her hand to toy with a piece of Tamara's hair.

"I will not bet on a fairy tale that I do not believe in." That was too low for even her. Voltron, the Alteans. Hah!

She pulled Tamara down by her hair, and pressed a little kiss to her lips.

"Brighten my mood after such a sad loss?"

Tamara laughed and pressed another little kiss against Taw's lips.

"I am pretty sure five coins isn't a sad lost. We have lost far more than that before. But..."

She leant down and kissed Taw again. Slowly and gently. Taking her time to enjoy the familiarity of it. Then pulled away, eyes heavy lidded as she looked down at Taw.

"I can't say no now, can I?"

"Five coin was what I put in. Imagine the riches I'd have won if I had won that bet."

There were a lot of people in their resistance. She could have truly been rich.

"No," Taw replied, hooking her leg over Tamara's and grinning, showing off her straight white teeth. "You cannot."

Tamara laughed again, he hand moved to grab Taw's ass as her leg hooked over her.

"So, if you had won, would you spoil me instead?"

Not that she would have her wanted to. She enjoyed spoiling Taw. Showering her with gifts from ancient tech to alien jewels. Anything she hoped Taw would find interesting in... Or look good on her.

"I spoil you daily, Tamara," she purred.

She ran her fingers through Tamara's wild curls, nails scratching gently over her scalp.

Her spoiling was more of the physical kinds rather than material, and she liked it like that. She liked receiving all these jewels and trinkets from Tamara and she didn't want that to change.

Her eyes twinkled mischievously as she grasped Tamara's hair and tugged it sharply.

Tamara gasped, jerking under Taw's grip. Cheeks flushed and her thighs twitching.

She squeezed the flesh under her hand. Hard.

"You call that spoiling?"

Taw bit her grinning lip when her backside was given a punishing squeeze.

"And if I did?"

She certainly enjoyed the treatment.

"Well," she leant back down so they were nose to nose, "I better spoil you back."

She gently rubbed the newly bruised skin, almost soothingly. An eyebrow raised as she waited for Taw's next move.

Taw's eyes were alight with joy. This was clearly exactly what she wanted.

"I do enjoy being spoiled."

Her hands slid from Tamara's hair after giving it a final tug, and moved to stroke her own, twirling one of her braids around a finger.

She'd worn braids specifically because she knew Tamara enjoyed yanking them. She wouldn't have worn them if she didn't want to encourage that sort of behaviour.

Tamara watched Taw's hand leave her own curly hair to toy with her braids. She picked up a few of them as well, twirling them around her finger as Taw did.

"You did your hair rather beautifully today."

Her thumb ran over the beads. They were one of the first gifts Tamara stole for Taw.

"I think I will leave them in for a while."

Her eyes dropped to Tamara's hand, watching her admire the beads. A smile curled her lips.

Their relationship had begun with no emotion on her part. She'd become Tamara's whore to save her own hide. The beads were a gift given to her then, when she had little care.

But a long time had passed since then, and her feelings for the woman had certainly changed.

She was more attached to these beads now, and anything Tamara gifted to her, than she had been when she first received them.

Tamara noted the little smile on Taw's lips and a smile tugged at hers.

She was under no illusion when they first began this relationship. She simply enjoyed exchanging gifts for physical affection. Not once did she expect anything for from Taw. Or from herself.

Yet somewhere along the line, they both fell in love.

The braid still wrapped around her finger she leant in for another kiss. Still slow. Still gentle.

Then she yanked hard.

What a strange relationship they had. From using each other to loving each other.

Full of sentiment, Taw completely relaxed into the gentle kiss, enjoying every moment of it.

And she was completely caught off guard when her braids were yanked. The moan came unbidden from her lips, louder than her usual noises.

Taw enjoyed suppressing her reactions, forcing Tamara to get creative if she wanted true reactions. It was just one of the many things she did to taunt and tease Tamara.

This time she'd been caught so tremendously off guard that she hadn't be able to suppress her reactions at all.

Taw's moan caught Tamara off guard too with how quickly she drew out a reaction like that. Heat rising to her face and she grinned.

Leaning down she pressed a few more kisses against Taw's exposed neck.

"You sound so lovely," she purred.

Loosening the grip of the braid as she gently rubbed the area she tugged.

Taweret heaved a breath.

"You caught me off guard," she defended, her cheeks heating up, though the blush was barely visible under her dark skin.

She wasn't used to having such strong reactions. It was a little embarrassing.

Her eyes slid shut and she leaned into the hand gently stroking over the sore skin of her scalp.
