[C] Surprise!

"We should have put some newspaper down first. Or a mat. Or something."

He could always do so next time.

Deciding that taunting him with just his sticky paws wasn't enough, the kitten sat in the bowl and ate.

"Yeah, I am definitely not picking you up now."

The kitten looked up, face covered in food, and mewled.

"Nope, no way."

Fleck laughed again, and dropped a kiss to the fluffy crown of Dick's head.

"Soon you won't be able to resist him."

It was guaranteed to happen. Dick would fall head over heels in love with the little kitten.

Fleck was calling it now.

Dick hummed, a little unconvinced. Especially with what a mess he was currently making. He wanted nothing more than to clean, but there was no point until the kitten had finished and taken for another bath.

Dick flicked his eyes up to Fleck and raised a brow.

"More so then how I can resist you?"

"You can't resist me. I'm irresistible!"

His arms wrapped firmly around Dick's waist and he squeezed him tight, pulling him closer to pepper his face with kisses.

Dick could never resist him.

Dick laughed when he was squeezed and showered with kisses. He put up with it for a moment before pushing on Fleck's shoulds to lean back. A grin was on his pink-cheeked face.

"Are you sure about that?"

His heart was fluttering.

"Are you really, reeeally sure about that?"

"Really really really sure."

He leaned down to nuzzle Dick's nose with his own, hugging him tighter.

He was irresistible. He knew it. Dick knew it.

It was a fact of life.

He was unable to stop the grin tugging up the corner of his lip, his nose wrinkling. His armed curled around Fleck's neck.

"Prove it."

Fleck didn't need to prove it. Dick already knew there were very few things he could do to that would make him unresistible. He had seen him make that gross goop of kitten food, after all, and would still like to smooch his face off.

It was just fun to see what he would do.

Fleck grinned and pressed a kiss to Dick's forehead.

"Nah, don't need to."

He was content in knowing that he was irresistible. He didn't need to prove that he was.

His thumbs began rubbing light circles on Dick's hips.

A short huff of air left Dick's lungs as he leaned back, hands resting on Fleck's biceps. Playful disapproval was on his face.

Boring.

His expression flipped at the tiny movement of thumbs rubbing circles against his hips. Blue eyes flicked to the door, his lip pulled between his teeth.

"You're going to have to stop that."

Now wasn't the time and place to get turned on.

Fleck pretended to ponder, head tilted up to the ceiling for a moment.

"Mmmm, nah."

He didn't need to stop, and he was certainly content to carry on. Especially knowing that it was making Dick flustered.

His thumbs didn't stop their slow circling.

Dick breathed in deeply, eyes downcast. A part of him knew they should stop. They were in the kitchen. They were looking after the kitten.

Nothing in him could make him physically stop his boyfriend.

"You're mean," he said with a groan, pushing his hips forward, "insufferable."

"And everything else under the sun," he agreed with an amiable smile.

He was very used to these insults by now. They didn't even break the surface on insulting Fleck anymore.

His thumbs continued to stroke in slow circles.

Dick groaned. There was only so long he could put up with those torturous circles until something had to give.

Blue eyes darted back to the door.

That something was him.

A hand cupped the back of Fleck's neck and he pushed himself up on his toes to kiss him, their bodies pressed together.

The kiss was soft and sweet. His mouth moved slowly against Fleck's. The stubble scratched his chin.

With a little smirk, he dropped back down on the balls of his feet, taking Fleck's bottom lip with him between his teeth until it sprung free.
