"Does that cat steal your boyfriend after denying you love?"

To think he called her an angel. She was a devil in disguise.

"Yes, actually. Pugile loves Corban. But I think that's because Corban doesn't like him."

Pugile was definitely the sort of cat that loved people that hated him. If there was even a moment's hesitation around that cat, he was on you.

At least he found a sense of comradery with Sacha over this.

"He'll dislike me then."

As much as he disdained Sacha's cat at the moment, it still warmed his heart to see how cute she was being with Fleck. The little devil. 

He picked up the remote from the TV and flicked through a few channels until he landed on the music channel. He perked up when he recognised an old song. A very cheesy old song. One that you couldn't help but hum and sing to.

"I'm pretty sure that cat hates everyone but Corban."

It was a little asshole of a cat, really. Still very cute. Sacha was a serious cat person. He wanted to cuddle the cat, even if it didn't like him.

"Are we really having a music night? 'Cause if we are, we need to get youtube on the case."

He only changed the channel since it had gone onto a mundane program about fishing. 

"Sure."

He leaned a little more onto Sacha, so it would be verging on being a tiny bit uncomfortable. 

"But how would we be able to do that without my phone?"

Sacha grinned back. "Hey Google?"

A ping sounded. "Play Musicals playlist."

"Playing Musical's playlist."

The Rum Tum Tugger is a curious cat

Dick looked around in surprise. Technology, man.

He lips kicked up and he turned the telly off. 

"Appropriate," he mused.

Now, what was that article he was reading about technology listening to you...?

"Google can be creepy."

Very creepy at times. But it played the best music at his request so he couldn't bitch too hard.

Sacha hummed along to the song.

"Go on," he nudged Sacha, "dance if you know the words. This is a musical playlist."

Maybe he can get his phone back. Then maybe he could film Sacha dancing around like a cat to laugh at later.

Sacha snorted. "I'm not much of a dancer."

Surprisingly, he wasn't. He could grind with the best of them in a sweaty club, and he'd been classically trained at the insistence of his mother, but anything more expressive and free? He wasn't great at. He wasn't going to make a fool of himself until at least the fourth bottle of wine.

But he did sing.

That was something he could do and do well.

"I'll dance to the next one," he insisted, his tipsy status could now be confirmed.

Nothing could be worst then prancing around like a cat, right?

... Right.

Rum Tum Tugger ended, and the next song started up.

Hey 'Rrrrrrronica!

Sacha almost exploded in laughter. Oh my God. Perfect song.

"C'mon then, hotshot. Dance for us," Sacha jeered.

Yep, it was worse.

"What? No! You didn't dance. That was the bargain."

He couldn't help meeting Fleck's eyes. There was a lot of blue balling for the first year of their relationship.

"Nope, dance. Dance!"

Sacha nudged Dick to get up.

Don't talk mean like that
You'll hurt their feelings
You make my balls so blue
You hurt them badly

Fleck's lips quirked upwards when Dick met his eyes. "C'mon, dance," he urged, which earned a woop from Sacha.

Dick stayed firmly on the couch.

"Nope, nope. Not happening."

"Booo! You're so fucking boring."

Sacha nudged Dick and pouted.

Dick nudged Sacha back.

"You're boring. It was only fair if you danced in the first place."

"I can't dance. You can."

Sacha pouted harder.

"C'mon, Dick. Dance for us!"

"Nuh-uh. No way. What am I getting out of it?"

Sacha dancing wasn't it.

"The respect of your adoring fans?"

Sacha gestured to himself and Fleck, raising his brows.

Wasn't that enough?

Dick raised an eyebrow. He took a long and considering drink from his wine. One gulp, two gulps, three gulps, and the glass was empty.

"Let me think." He smacked his lips together. "No. You should respect me, anyway."

He did a comedic hair flip, forgetting his hair was in a bun.

"I only have respect for people that'll dance for me."

Sacha flopped back, still pouting.

Dick shook his head.

"How are you even supposed to dance to this song? You can show me if you like."

"Niiice try." His voice was dry.

Fleck watched the two of them, petting the cat and watching the verbal battle.

The song came to an end. "And you missed your chance."

How does a ragtag volunteer army
In need of a shower
Somehow stop a global superpower

"Oh! This is my jam! Be prepared to be amazed!" Sacha's eyes lit up.

"Oh no, I'm so very upset."

It was an understatement. They could finally let it rest.

"Go on," he edged on when he heard the first couple of lines.
