Derrick was a heavy sleeper, as long as he wasn't touched, he wouldn't wake up.

When Derya walked past his bed he simply grunted and rolled over in bed, sprawling out on his back.

He was a late riser, normally trudging out into the yard just before breakfast, 'socializing' for a while, then getting to work before the noon sun set in.

Derya was safe for now.

Until Derrick appeared in the yard, people would still think that he still belonged to the man. He was still Derrick's bitch until he appeared and didn't even acknowledge him.

People would only find out that his plan to stay safe had fallen through in the first evening when Derrick appeared.

The boy laid out on his rock, bathing in the morning sun with a soft purr.

For now he'd enjoy himself.

When breakfast finally rolled around Derrick forced himself out of bed, noticing Derya's bed was empty he padded off into the yard, heading toward one of the large gates which led into different factories or mines.

Certain Lycan were chosen for jobs and they got small perks from it.

Derrick had been assigned to the mines and made his way through the gate, after being handed food upon entering before being ushered in, he wouldn't resurface until the after noon.

Derya actually enjoyed that morning.

No one bothered him. He sunbathed for a few hours, lapped up the last little bits of breakfast, then disappeared into the room he shared with Derrick.

He could actually walk through the crowds without fear of people attacking him. He liked not being a target. It was a shame that it wouldn't be lasting long.

He laid out on his own bed, eyes sliding shut.

A little nap wouldn't be a terrible thing.

The day droned on and by mid afternoon Derrick was drained, he had been frustrated thinking about the night before and worked himself ragged.

When he finally past through the large gates again his skin was covered in coal soot and he trudged through the yard to where his group congregated, sitting among them as they all talked.

He noticed that Derya was not among them but that didn't really surprise him at all, and at the moment he couldn't bring himself to care.

The boy was dead asleep.

In the time he'd been in the yard, he had been sleeping just a few hours each night.

His body couldn't keep up with that and now he was out like a light.

He'd be sleeping for hours on end if left alone.

When dinner finally rolled around and Derya was still no where to be seen the Lycan got curious, perhaps the brat was hiding away somewhere after last night, surely he couldn't have scared him off at all.

With an exasperated sigh the Lycan got up off of his ass and started looking around for him, checking his rock and Ana's room, before heading to the bedrooms, checking the boy's old room before padding down toward his own.

He was dead asleep.

Dreaming.

Of sharp teeth and hot pain and loud cries. Of gentle hands and soft words. Two completely different worlds.

His body twitched on the bed, soft moans and cries sounding.

Derrick leaned against the bedroom door and looked over at the boy twitching and crying out in his sleep, when was the last time he had enjoyed at decent sleep?

The Lycan didn't know what possessed him to show any form of kindness to the boy, perhaps it was the fact that he was needed for once, or that the boy had a sort of vulnerability about him.

He sighed heavily and ran off back into the yard, returning a few moments later, more cuts and bruising on his body but a bowl of food in his grasp as he moved toward the sleeping boy, placing the meal down on the floor.

"Derya, wake up."

He muttered, placing a hand on the boy's shoulder and nudging him.

The boy jerked up awake with a cold sweat.

He moaned something in Turkish under his breath, slumping back against the bed.

His light silver eyes turned up to Derrick, brows drawing together a little.

"Derrick?"

What was the man doing here?

"You alright? You were crying out in your sleep."

He muttered quietly, he didn't want to be attracting attention and drawing more people into the rooms, thankfully most of them were busy trying to kill one another for scraps.

"I brought you some dinner."

He added with a shrug as he picked up the bowl and held it out to the boy.

Why he was being nice to him still evaded Derrick, but he tried not to question it, after all he still thought Derya was a brat.

The boy nodded. "Just a nightmare."

He pushed himself to sit up again, running a hand through his messy hair. He really needed to get it cut. It was drooping in his eyes and brushing his jaw.

Derya reached for the bowl eagerly, wasting no time in digging in with gusto. He'd slept through lunch.

"Thanks." He spoke through a large mouthful of food but his tone was most definitely grateful.

It only took a few minutes to empty the bowl completely. The boy was ravenous.

Derrick couldn't help but laugh softly as the boy all but inhaled the food, he was surprised that the boy didn't choke on it.

"Remind me to get you a bigger portion for breakfast."

He didn't realise the boy could eat so much, he was only small, but then he had been living off of scraps.

The Lycan pushed himself onto his feet and stretched his arms over his head, purring as his joints cracked.

The man padded toward the door, he wanted to spend more time outside before they were locked in, he hated being stuck inside.

Derya grinned at the man.

Derrick was going to get him more food in the morning. That meant... he was still under protection, right?

The prospect of more food and protection had his mood rising.

"Where you going?" he asked curiously, tilting his head to the side.

The man had just appeared, watched him eat and was now leaving.

Derrick wasn't used to taking care of anyone but himself so just sitting there would make him feel uncomfortable.

"To the yard."

He muttered, looking over his shoulder to the boy before turning around and slumping against the door.

"Been down a mine shaft all day, I wanna enjoy being outside while I can."

He replied with a shrug, whether or not the boy wanted to join him was his choice, he didn't particularly care.

"Can I come?"

He was in the best mood he'd been in for quite a while. He had a good amount of sleep, some good food, he was protected.

Now...perhaps he could try and get used to being around people.

The boy shuffled to the end of his bed, a little excited.

He was usually a social person. He liked meeting people and making friends. He just hadn't really had the chance here. People were too dangerous. He valued his life over attempting to make friends.

"I suppose so, at least I can keep an eye on you."

He muttered, gesturing for the boy to follow him.
Derrick couldn't imagine what it must be like living here for Derya, everything he did had to be so careful.

The Lycan padded out into the yard, heading back toward his group who sat around in a series of smaller huddles, those who were closer knit sticking together.

Derrick sat down with Mark and Tony, Mark was slightly smaller than Tony and sat in the man's lap nestling in under his neck, the two of them were still working out the whole wolf libido situation.

Derya followed behind the man as he padded out into the yard.

The boy sat close to Derrick. Close was a little bit of an understatement. He was so close that he was almost sat in the man's lap. Despite wanting to be social, he was still a little worried.

Mark and Tony had seen them fall out the night before. Would they be okay with his presence?

It looked like they were more concerned with each others body than his presence, though.

The sexual side of being turned looked like it was affecting them a lot.

"Oi, you two, can you keep your cocks out of each other for a sec?"

He said bluntly as he stared over at the two men, the request met with a low growl from Mark.

"We could stick 'em in you if you would prefer."
The man replied with a dark smirk, the reply met with a snort for Derrick as he chuckled.

"Wanted you two to meet my boy, Derya."
He draped his arm over the boy's shoulders and pulled him in closer, showing the men that despite their falling out, they were still together.

"He is cute."
Tony replied before yelping as Mark pinched his ass roughly.

Derya's lip twitched a little at the banter between the group of men.

They were comfortable enough with each other to laugh about sex so openly. It was amusing to watch.

Derya wasn't as relaxed as Derrick was when he was pulled against the man's side but he wasn't tense enough to look obviously uncomfortable.

"Merhaba."

He gave a little awkward wave.

"Tony, you're a gossip, I want it known that he belongs to me, got it?"

The man nodded before nuzzling back against his Lover.

"Nice to meet ya Derya, I'm Tony, and this is Mark, we were a little distracted last night for introductions."

Tony muttered with a soft smile, the man was obviously the most submissive of the three men, openly comfortable rubbing up against the much larger Mark, who had his arms banded around the man's middle protectively.

With a gossip telling everyone that he was owned, everyone would know before lights out.

He'd actually be safe. Everyone would know that he wasn't to be touched.

His mind flickered back to the moment he'd been introduced to them the night before. He hadn't been sure which one was which. Now he knew.

The boy gave a smile as he relaxed a little more against Derrick.

Perhaps he'd make friends with these men instead of them just being people that helped protect him if got into trouble.

"Come 'ere you."

You muttered, grabbing the boy and propping him into his lap like the other two Lycan were sitting, resting his head on the boy's shoulder.

There was no better way to show that he was taken they public displays like this, no one would go near Derya if they knew what was good for them.

Derya gave a little yelp when he was picked up, his arms slipping around Derrick's shoulders to keep him upright.

"Give a boy some warning," he muttered with a little pout as he settled into the man's lap.

He'd done a lot of thinking in the morning while everyone had been asleep. He had gotten a second chance now and he wasn't going to ruin that.

He was much safer keeping his unhappiness at the situation to himself and going along with what Derrick wanted. He'd play happy bitch.

"Nah, it is far too amusing to hear you yelp like that."

He replied with a chuckle, he knew the boy wasn't happy about all of this, but he didn't have a choice any more, as long as Derrick didn't have to hear about it, he didn't care.

"Whats the pay like down in the mines?"
Mark asked, breaking his usual silence as he looked over at the Lycan.

Derrick shrugged in return as he looked over at him, a smear of soot still staining his face.

"Not too bad if I save up for a while we might be able to get some shit for our cell."

Working any job earned you credits now which could be spent on certain items, it was a way of enticing the Lycans to behave themselves, if they worked hard they were too tired to fight and kill one another.

It was a plan Lycus had put into place and had served him well so far.

"Bloody dangerous though."
