[C] House Party

"Ye'll be beating yerself up enough over tha next few hars."

His stepped over the glass shattered all over teh floor carelessly and made his way down towards the stairs.

"Yer buying me a new pair o baffies, though." His poor slippers weren't made to stand on glass. They were pretty messed up now.

He tried not to jolt Louis too much while he made his way down the stairs.

The wolf nodded softly in against the man's back, happy just the breath in his scent as he was carried.

As they reached the front yard a voice called out.

"Louis!?"

A larger man came running up, he was in another one of Louis' classes, they had grown to be good friends and he also attended one of Tabitha's lectures.

"Tabitha?"

He muttered, sounding confused.

"Is he alright?"

Ah, fuck.

Tabitha really didn't know how to explain away him showing up to save Louis without it sounding like he was in a relationship with him.

Dammit.

"He was drugged. He gave me a call to come pick me up."

He shifted awkwardly from one foot to the other, giving a wide, nervous grin that was definitely a part of his university mask. "I'm going to take him home so he can sleep it off."

Jonathan looked confused as to why Louis would call Tabitha, as far as he knew the man was only his lecturer and tutor.

"Shouldn't he go to a hospital?"

He asked glancing at Louis with concern.

" 'm right."
Louis muttered softly.

"Tabiffa was last person I called, cancel tutoring."

He muttered, it seemed like a logical lie, you're in trouble you call the easiest person who would be the last one on your recently contacted list.

"It's not too serious. Not enough to go to hospital. He just needs a lot of sleep."

A hospital wouldn't help him. Louis would probably get himself sent off for government testing or something equally as cliche.

Tabitha gave a sheepish grin at Louis' BS reasonging.

"It was a good reason to get away from marking."

Jonathan gave a wary nod, more inclined to let them go since Louis was giving it the okay.

"Louis, call me when you're feeling better."

He instructed, wanting to make sure he would be alright.

Louis gave a wary nod, he wanted to go home back to Tabitha's house and just rest.

"See you next week in class," Tabitha said in way of parting as he made his way to his (quite surprisingly still there) idling car.

He carefully set Louis in the passenger seat and strapped him in. Once he was secore he made his own way around the car.

When he was sat in the drivers seat, Tabitha gave a deep sigh.

"Acting has never been so hard as just then." He'd been so worried about getting Louis home that he didn't want to act like a bumbling idiot.

Louis gave a little smile, he was glad that they had gotten away with that.

He didn't want Tabitha to skip town because of a scandal.

"Home?"

He asked softly, desiring nothing more than to curl up happily on the couch or in Tabitha's bed, he wanted to be somewhere that they could be themselves.

"Yeah, home sounds good."

His accent had all but disappeared into the ether now. It had reared its head and disappeared all in the space of about ten minutes.

He drove home just as fast as he had driven to the party. It only took a few minutes for him to get to his apartment complex.

He carried Louis bridal style now, more intimately than the piggy back he'd given him earlier.

"Tch." As he made his way up the stairs to his house, he noticed that he'd left his door wide open. He'd really been worried for Louis. "Let's hope that nothing got stolen."

This time when he was picked up Louis made more of an effort to curl in against the man, resting his head comfortably on the man's chest with a little purr.

Seeing Tabitha's door carelessly left open like that made him realize just how swiftly the man had come to his aid.

"Sorry."

He muttered for the second time tonight, he had gotten himself into unnecessary trouble and caused the man a lot of hassle.

Tabitha gave a half shrug at the apology. He didn't want Louis' apologies for this.

Nothing seemed to be out of place as he made his way through the livingroom to get to the bedrom. His TV was in place, at least. He wouldnt know if smaller things were missing unless he got a good look.

He placed Louis carefully in bed and covered him.

"I'm going to get you some water. I want you to drink as much as you can."

"Okay."

He muttered as he was placed down on the bed, enjoying the feeling of the plush pillows and blankets against him instead of the cold tiled floor.

Tonight had been frightening but he felt safe now, and more than grateful that Tabitha had rushed to his rescue.

Tabitha returned with a large glass jug full of ice water in one hand and a full almost sphreical glass complete with bendy straw in his other hand.

He set the jug on the bedside table and perched at Louis' hip, holding the glass so that the straw pressed to Louis' lips.

"Drink," he murmured, his hand stroking Louis' hip over the thin blanket and Louis' clothing.

Hydrate and dilute the toxins in his system.

He could focus enough to figure out the importance of drinking until he couldn't take in any more.

When the straw pressed to his lips and took deep gulps, he wanted to be well again as soon as possible.

It took a short while but he drained the glass, panting softly as he caught his breath from drinking to quickly.

Tabitha refilled the glass as soon as it was drained.

His hand stroked higher, until his fingers were running through Louis' hair gently.

"Drink as much as you can, and tell me when you need to pee. I don't want to clean up a wet patch on my bed."

His fingers stroked over Louis' cheek.

"We'll get a shower in the morning."

Louis let his eyes slide shut now that he felt safe, leaning into the touches of Tabitha's hand as his hair was stroked, taking the straw into his mouth again and drinking.

He drained the glass for a second time but with a little less gusto, he could feel that unpleasantly full sensation in his stomach.

After another glass he decided that he couldn't drink anymore as just lay back, looking up at the man.

Tabitha filled the glass again, but set it on the bedside table.

He climbed over Louis so he could lay on his side, pressed against Louis' back. He wrapped an arm around the Wolf, finger stroking his stomach.

"Be areful next time, please."

He had been careful, he hadn't taken any drinks that someone else had given him, he always mixed his own but he had been unlucky in choosing the wrong bottle of cola.

Louis nestled back in against Tabitha.

The young wolf felt happier being here than he did being at a party.

He doubted that there would be many more parties in the future that he would be attending. Though he wasn't looking forward to seeing Michele on campus, especially after Tabitha knocked him onto his ass.

His fingers teased through Louis' hair against as he pulled the Wolf snugly back against his chest.

His other hand held Louis' shoulder almost possessively.

The hand on Louis' shoulder was already starting to bruise. Wolves had quite hard heads. His meagre shifter hand stood little chance against Michele's head.

He'd ask Louis to bathe it with his tongue when the pup was feeling better.

Louis always purred when his hair was stroked, regardless of his state.

It wasn't often that he saw Tabitha acting possessively but it was more than welcome right now.

The pup let his eyes slide shut as his relaxed, it didn't take long at all for him to give in to what he had been feeling for a long while now.

Now that he felt safe, he allowed himself to sleep it off.
