Too Much Salt?

He hands flew up to his ears, and he proceed to chant "LALALA" over and over again as soon as the older woman said "for example". His flushed face from the alcohol was now flushing a little more.

With another "no", he tried to twist out her grip again - this time half of his body slipping out of it.He blinked, then tried to snake his way out of her grip, grin broad across his face. His movements where dramatic, and he swayed a little. He giggled at odd motion of movement.

she sighed as he wriggled and tightened her grip again, once again getting his jaw and forcing it open before making him take another bite and forcing his mouth closed and holding it closed as she pinched his nose and held him tight

damnit boy! eat the bread so you sober up a little!

she chuckled and grinned holding the boy so he'd eat something, and she was chuckling at how very childish Dick really was when he let loose and relaxed

she grinned slyly as she held the wriggling vampire

He gave out another whine as he was pulled back up. He wriggled as he was forced to take another bite of the bread. This time a hand covered his mouth to stop him from executing his great idea again.

His eyes watered a little as he tried not to swallow the bread and held his breath. As soon as those little words about Giacinto left her mouth, he swallowed quickly, then choked a little - gasping for breath.

He blinked, and deciding that The Bread was not the source of all evil, he grabbed the rest of it and ate it contently, leaning into Sharifa.

Sharifa smiled and sighed quietly, letting her eyes fall shut

she leaned back against the cupboards and hugged Dick as he leaned against her and rested her chin on the top of his head as he ate

she interlocked her hand together and began humming quietly a tune she used to hum to her own kids

my my, Richard. you are troublesome sometimes aren't you

she quietly began stroking his hair and relaxed, simply letting him lean against her

Quickly finishing his bread he simple sat in Sharifa's arms for a while, letting his hair be stroked, listening to the little tune she hummed.

But he was not in the tired stage of drunkenness just yet, his mind was still buzzing. Stumbling out of Sharifa's arms he looked around the kitchen, wondering what to do next. His eyes soon landed on the half full glass of wine that he had yet to get on his mission. He leaned over and quickly gulped the rest down. Swaying, he put the glass back on the table, almost smashing it, giggling contently.

sharifa sighed again...she hadn't sighed this much in fondness since her kids were young and being reckless

she chuckled quietly and stood up, ignoring, again, the cracking of her skin, and moved back to her chair

careful now. we don't want you breaking anything. yourself or the glasses. and lay of the wine boy. you'll have a hell of a hangover

the wine had ran out now, so hopefully it would wear off on him soon, so she simply laid back in her chair and kept an eagle eye on him to make sure he didn't do anything stupid as she nibbled on her chocolate

ALtair was also watching the scene as well, wings shifting as he 'chuckled' and shook his head as he shifted his position on Sharifa's shoulder and watched Dick stumble around the room

he better not get any knives

He ignored Sharfa, and began to look through the cupboards, giggling at random interviews and stumbling as he went around the kitchen. He did a little twirl, almost falling on his face if the table had not been there.

He resumed at looking through the cupboard, looking at the labels yet unable to read the writing that seemed to move on their own. He hummed and put them back... Not as neatly. He then opened a few draws, finding them fairly boring.

Until he opened the most dangerous one.

As he opened it, it almost seemed light shone out of it. He was drawn to it, and lifted out the what could possibly be most largest and sharpest of them all will glee.

Sharifa's mind was suddenly like this: shdklfaskgberigrt DAFAK!?!?! WHY?!? AND WHY THAT KNIFE?!?!?! dsjfhlksagrdbskdh

she suddenly darted forwards, wincing slightly when she heard a loud crack from her skin, and quickly restrained Dick, trying to take the knife from him

now, sweetheart, you might wanna put that down as that's highly dangerous in your state my love

Altair was worried about the crack and the fact that Dick was holding a knife like that in his drunken state. it was a boning knife, meaning it was damn sharp and would easily cut through most things.

Sharifa was a little bit worried right then

He let out another whining "no" and leaned forward - reaching his arm out so that he could try to get the knife, that just screamed "LOL, I am a mothers nightmare", out of Sharifa's reach.

He twisted and fell forward, the letting go of the knife to land on his hands. It skidded across the kitchen floor and under the cupboard in a blink of an eye. A little clank indicated that it hit the wall.

He blinked, then gulped a "uh oh".

Sharifa gulped as well as the knife slid out of sight. she could already feel Gia's dark Aura begining to form, and decided to act quickly

sighing quietly, she helped Dick back up and place him on the chair and made sure he wouldn't fall before reaching out with her shadows underneath the counter to reach the knife and carefully pulled it out

once it was back in her hands, she turned to glare at Dick

now, no more messing around with sharp objects and nearly getting us killed because you nearly lost it under the cupboard. seriously. Gia will murder us if something like this gets lost

she cleaned the knife and put it away before using a shadow to bind said draw of knives shut so the drunken Dick couldn't get at them again and other knives that would give her a heartattack one way or another

He let himself be plonked on the chair and he watched Sharifa retrieve the knife. He jumped in his seat and clapped enthusiastically.

He cocked his head as Sharifa glared at him, and began to shout, telling him off. Another giggle bubbled up, finding her telling off face all to funny.

Swaying a little in the chair - from the alcohol, rather then choice - he looked around the kitchen again, then slumped. He slurred out "Shaaaar, I'm bored."

Sharifa groaned and shook her head....yeah....definately like her kids...

sighing yet again, she tried to think of a way to entertain the boy

she clicked her fingers and fire erupted around her hand.

she crouched in front of the younger one and manipulated the fire so it took the form of a small dragon, and she created other various creatures with it along side, everything from the mythical to every day

she created elaborate and flashy displays with her fire, making it dance around the room after she had used her darkness to dim the lights a little, and hoped that this would entertain the boy

He waited impatiently, about to open his gob again to whine - only to jump up in surprise as Sharifa snapped her fingers and light exploded from them, illuminating the room.

He watched in childish fascination, leaning slowly forward to get a look at the fiery dragon.

He toppled over, flat on his face.

ths blinked as he fell forwards, and began chuckling quietly as she helped him up, the fire display still going on she she made him sit up, this time on the floor

love, you really shouldn't lean so far forwards you fall over

to keep the lad entertained, and to prevent him from whining, she made the dragon fly over to him and hover in front of his face, its wings spread out before it went and settled on his shoulder, leaving a warm feeling as it clambered around Dick

Sharifa kept the other creatures she had created moving around, along with fire balls dancing around the room like miniature meteors that whizzed around the room, and she settled on the ground next to him, leaning beck and rest an arm on a knee that she had brought up while she kept an eye on Dick

Altair was quite content, just sitting there and watching the little fire display

The buzz of the alcohol was slowly wearing off, making his eyes a little heavy. With the added warmth, he was overall getting a little sleepy. He let his body fall the side and onto Sharifa, giggling as he did so.

He snuggled a little into older vampire. Yet kept his eyelids open so that he can watch the light display. He suddenly became aware enough to notice that his cheek throbbed a little from falling on it, and that his head hurt.

Sharifa snickered and pulled the slowly falling asleep vampire into her lap, and draped her arm around his waist again to support him from falling over

she let her eyes slide shut as she continued playing with the fire

taking a breath, she began singing quietly in arabic, a sort of warm lullaby, and made the fire's actions slow down, and the little fire dragon curled up around Dick's shoulders

she stroked Dick's hair, knowing he was going to fall asleep soon, and sighed in her mind in relief....now he won't be pissing about with knives

Altair nuzzled Sharifa, slowly falling asleep himself, and let his eyes fall shut

she chuckled quietly and continued singing

His eyes slide shut, relaxing into Sharifa. He listened to the sweet tune she sung softly, and found the stroking his hair soothing. He slipped into dream land, snoring lightly as he normally did when he had too much to drink (which, really, was not that much).

Unknowingly to the sleeping vampire, when he will wake, he will of forgotten the majority of the time he spent drunk and his childish antics. With only a pounding head-ache and feeling a little queasy to remind him that he probably had more then one glass of strong wine.

she chuckled again and stopped singing as he had fallen asleep along with Altair, and she pulled out a cigar from a pouch, cutting the end of and lighting it up with a small flame at the end of her finger as she began smoking quietly, simply letting Dick sleep against her

she sighed quietly, exhaling pale smoke in little smoke rings

she enjoyed the quite moments more and more now as life here was so hectic

snickering, she looked back down at the lightly snoring vampire and chuckled, letting her eyes fall closed and shook her head

bloody lightweight

leaning back again and holding her cigar between her teeth, she pulled out a locket and flipped it open to show her family, and smiled fondly at the images of her children and their children.

she missed her family, but found she was getting a second one. she missed home, but not as much as she first had. but either way, first chance she got, she was back in Arabia before anyone could blink

the thought saddened her a little, but her homeland was continuously tugging at her...and she couldn't resist the call of her homeland forever
