[C] The Worst Idea to Date

"Well..."

He shrugged. "A little bit of bondage can be fun."

He enjoyed a little bit of bondage and teasing. He wasn't going to deny that. And this place had a surplus of bondage equipment.

Dick's face was on fire. Even in the dimness of the room, Fleck could probably see his face glow.

He locked his hands with Fleck's and began dragging him back towards the stairs.

"It thinks that is enough curiosity for one day."

He really needed some cold, crisp winter air. And forget that St Andrews cross ever existed.

Fleck laughed, and allowed Dick to drag him out of basement.

"That wasn't a no to trying out bondage," he pushed.

He wanted to see how red he could make Dick's cheeks glow. He was betting he could make them pretty damned red and he was looking forwards to it.

Dick refused to turn around and look at his boyfriend. Cheeks brighter than ever.

He was silent as he hauled him up the stairs. The snappy answer of no was at the tip of his tongue. Yet he couldn't quite say it. He put it down to him being too flustered.

Fleck's grin widened.

"We don't have to use any of the equipment. A couple ties will work just fine. You have ties, right?"

He couldn't lose the grin if he wanted to now.

"So... are you leading me to your room?"

He did have ties. Multiple ties. His imagination was going to places that it really shouldn't.

He continued to do his best to act like he was ignoring Fleck. Opening the door, blinking a few times as sensitive eyes adjusted to the late afternoon light.

Blond curls bounced around Dick's face when finally twisted around to look at Fleck.

"What? No. We're going outside."

A big over-exaggerated pout formed on his lips.

"Aww, and I was so looking forwards to you tying me down."

He swooped forwards to steal a kiss.

That didn't help his overly excited imagination. He could clearly see Fleck on his bed with his ties around his wrists.

It was getting far too warm in here.

Flustered, he didn't lean into the kiss. Only fluttering his eyes closed on instinct. His heart pounded in his chest.

He chuckled and kissed Dick's burning cheek.

"Too cute."

Really, Dick's flustered reactions were too cute.

"Okay, show me outside."

Dick was relieved to see the teasing coming to an end. He wasn't sure how much he could take before literally combusting. Although he was sure he was very close.

"Sure."

He tugged on Fleck's hand again to lead him outside. He was glad to hear that basement door slam shut behind him.

It was only a few turned before Dick brought Fleck towards a large door that leads out to the courtyard. Dick inhaled deeply, glad to be outside. It cooled him back down considerably. Both his body and his thoughts.

he continued to tug at Fleck's hand, taking him towards the fountain.

"Trying to pull my arm off?"

He gave Dick's arm a little tug to get him to ease up a little bit.

"I'm following you, no need to drag me."

The sight of the courtyard took his breath away. Wow. What a beautiful place.

"Ah, sorry."

He eased up his pace and grip on Fleck's hand.

He couldn't help but smile at Fleck's expression. Even in the beginnings of winter couldn't take away the courtyards beauty.

Dick settled down on the edge of the fountain, eyes still on Fleck.

"You should see it in summer. It is one of the best places to draw."

"I can just imagine."

He took a seat besides Dick and dropped an arm around his shoulders.

"We'll have to spend a day out here."

He leaned into Fleck, his own arm wrapping around Fleck's waist.

"We should. Maybe have a picnic or something equally cheesy."

Like in those cringy romance novels he can't stop reading.

"And it will be more successful than the one on the beach. No God damn sand."

"How cheesy can you get?"

He leaned his cheek against the top of Dick's head, squeezing his shoulder affectionately.

"I don't think the beach date went too horribly."

He'd certainly enjoyed it.

"Well, it certainly had its perks."

He smiled fondly of the memory of their first kiss. Even with all the sand, he wouldn't change it. Not for the world.

Just he wasn't going to rush to the beach for their next date.

"I was thinking a hike up into the mountines.find a nice clearing to settle in to draw and drink in the afternoon. Then cuddle up under a blanket to watch the sunset together and sit under the stars." He couldn't help the silly grin on his face. "Sound cheesy enough?"

"Nope. You'll have to do better if you want to go on the cheesiest date." Fleck had incredibly high standards for cheesy dates.

He tilted his head to press a little kiss to Dick's temple.

He leaned in as Fleck pressed a kiss on his temple, his head resting on Fleck's shoulder.

"Okay, what is your idea of a cheesy date?"

"I can't give away my cheesy date ideas by just telling you. There's no fun in that."

If he was going to do the whole cheesy date thing, he was going to actually take Dick out on those dates, not tell him about it.

Dick huffed. He was hoping to take notes, figuring out the type of date Fleck likes the easy way.

"I just told you a date idea - it is only fair."

"Hmmm, no."

His hand gave Dick's shoulder a little squeeze.

Dick wouldn't be getting any date ideas out of him. He was more of a do-er than a talker anyway.

His nostrils flared as he huffed again.

"Not fair."

He wrapped his other arm around Fleck's waist, linking his fingers as they met.

"Can you not at least give me a hint?"

"Nope."

He wasn't going to bend on this one.

He tilted his head. Blue eyes gazing up at Fleck. He hoped that it had the same puppy-eyed effect that Fleck has used on him. He never attempted it before. Not unless he wanted to be ridiculed or die of embarrassment.

"Please?"

He pressed a hand on top of Dic's head and moved it forwards over his forehead, guiding his fluffy fringe to cover his eyes.

"Nope."
