[C] Scheming

Dick didn't doubt him. He was sure Fleck wasn't going to make it easy for him.

A part of him would be disappointed if he didn't.

He was also determined not to make it easy for Fleck, either. Somehow. Someway. Even though this sort of thing didn't come naturally to him and he found it was easier to tease Fleck when being physical with him.

He led them out of the establishment and breathed in deeply. The late afternoon air felt good on his skin. It wasn't chilly, but it was enough.

Instinct made him want to reach out for Fleck's hand again, but he didn't.

"Can I maybe have an idea of what the torturing will involve?" He asked after he felt reasonably cooler.

The question had him grinning.

Anticipation would kill Dick just as much as the actual acts, so he was more than okay with telling him just what he was going to do.

"I'm going to forget what a shirt is, and only be able to speak in suggestive comments. I might get extra close to you, too, at times. Accidentally, of course."

Those images would be enough to make Dick blush nice and red as his imagination ran wild.

"That's not a proper answer," he groaned.

His imagination did run wild. Easily, he could imagine Fleck shirtless. He was lucky enough to have that ingrained in his head. Even so, he still couldn't tear his eyes off him when he was.

The suggestive comments he couldn't imagine. Only because his own mind wasn't creative enough. He was sure whatever they were, they would throw him off guard.

Getting extra close to Fleck was what he was hoping to do to, maybe. If would be difficult to do if he was teasing him as well.

Images and thoughts swirling in his mind, he groaned again.

"You're insufferable."

He didn't care if Fleck claimed that word with pride. It described him perfectly at times.

"Totally is. If you want more, though, you'll have to wait."

It'd happen soon enough.

The insult thrown his way just made him grin. "Yupp." He popped the P loudly. He was insufferable and proud.

Dick would have to deal with it.

Dick sighed at Fleck's proud grin.

They walked the rest of the way with Dick constantly reminding himself not to reach out for Fleck's hand. He found himself drifting every few minutes or so until their hands were only an inch away. Then he remembered; their bet.

He was glad when they reached Fleck's house. Unconscious decisions wouldn't be made. He would just have to consciously resist Fleck's charms and torture.

Opening the door, he trusted Fleck would announce their presence. His hand found Duke's head as he bounded up to them, paws on Dick's chest. Dick's face scrunched up and he turned his head away as the dog showed him affection.

"Okay, that's enough," he said, encouraging the dog down.

He did call out to the family, and got a couple welcome home's back.

When Duke balanced himself on Dick's chest, he laughed. "You know, if he was human, you wouldn't be able to do that, Duke," he spoke up to the dog. Like this, Duke was taller than him, even.

He pet the dog happily, then dropped him back down onto the floor.

"We already ate, so we're chilling upstairs," he called as he led Dick up towards the staircase.

He went up first, making sure to swing his hips a tiny bit. The jeans he wore today were tight around his ass. The perfect first tempt.

Dick gave the dog one last scratch behind the head and followed his boyfriend up the stairs. The slight sway in his hips that he didn't normally have accentuated how tight his jeans were around his gorgeous ass.

Blue eyes narrowed.

Fleck was doing that on purpose

At the top of the stairs, he slipped past his boyfriend so he couldn't be teased or tempted.

"So are we going to heal you up first or see who cracks first?"

He shrugged easily.

"You can decide. Though we might be waiting days to heal me up if we wait. Neither of us exactly yielding here."

He followed Dick into his room, and the first thing he did was pick up the ball of ginger fluff on the bed and carry him back to the door.

He set Sollew down, scratched his head and watched him wander down the hallway.

Dick watched as Fleck moved the cat, head poking back out into the hallway to witness the cat wonder.

"You know, I think think that is the first time I have seen Sollew move," he joked, heading back into the room.

Settling on the bed, he studied his boyfriend. More specifically, the tattoo wrapped in film.

"So, on a scale of one to ten, how well can you deal with intense itchiness for about half an hour?"

"He does, once in a blue moon. Its a wonder he's not fat."

That was the shocking thing about Sollew. He was a big cat, no one could deny that, but he was all fluff. He wasn't fat. If anything, he was quite slim for his size.

A minor miracle considering how little he moved.

Fleck snorted at the question. "I dunno...six? Seven? Depends on how bad the itching is. Could always do what Ang suggested, tie me to the bed."

He grinned at the thought of his sweet boyfriend tying him in bondage.

Dick face heated up. Angela's idea had crossed his mind. It was why he suggested healing his boyfriend in exchange for the bite of the burger, he wasn't entirely sure he would agree to this.

But now Fleck suggested it, he felt horribly embarrassed.

(Besides, any ideas that he had for after were void. Stubbornly, he wanted to win the bet.)

"Only if you start scratching it," he insisted, waiting for his boyfriend to join him.

"Well, I'll have to make sure to scratch it then."

He stuck his tongue out teasingly.

He knew Dick would lose their bet, faced with the image of him tied to their bed, shirtless and defenceless. He certainly wasn't going to let that image stay even half way innocent.

He pulled his shirt off carefully, wincing a little as his shoulder shifted around.

He gave his boyfriend a narrowed eyed look, blush still prevalent.

Not that deep down, he hoped he will.

"You didn't need to take off your shirt."

Not that he minded. At all. It just made the bet more difficult.

Of course, he was sure that is exactly why Fleck was doing this.

"If I don't, the tattoo will seal the cloth against my skin when it heals, and you'll the the one trying to peel my shirt from my skin, and tearing it open in the process."

Yeah, that and being shirtless would totally distract Dick later.

He tossed his shirt at Dick with a grin then began to carefully peel away the cling film on his skin.

Ouch. Ow. Ow.

Dick made a face. Yeah, he definitely didn't want to peel his boyfriend's shirt off his skin. Plus it would ruin all of Angela's work. He could heal the skin but wouldn't be able to bring back the tattoo.

Folding the shift that had been thrown at him, he waited for his boyfriend to finish preparing himself before he could use his 'vampire magic'.

He wadded up the clingfilm and tossed it into the little bin sat besides Margie's cage.

The tattoo was raised and red, and his skin was smeared with fallout ink and blood. A drop of cooling blood rolled down over his bicep in a sluggish path.

"Okay, Vampire, magic me."

Dick watched the clot of blood slid down the arm. The film of the aroma of blood had become more prominent. The room didn't have the smell of anti-septic to block it out.

He blinked as Fleck spoke, pulled out of a daze.

"Sure, come here then."

As if it was routine, he sliced his thumb on one of his fangs and brought it up to Fleck to take, blood welling up.

It was weird to think that last time they had been to Bad Dragon, it took him a day of frustration and anxiety to make himself do this for Fleck.

Now a part of him enjoyed doing this.

He was quick and almost clinical in the way he licked up the blood offered to him, then he sat down besides him, looking down at his arm.

There was hardly any outward reaction, but he felt the itching begin.

Then it got worse, and his hands twitched.

"Well, damn." He hadn't expected it to be that itchy.

Dick brought a tissue to the cut on his finger and he observed Fleck. Eyes on his face; the tattoo; his hands.

His face split into a grin as the hand twitched.

"How are you feeling?" He said, sweetly, getting back at the teasing that Fleck had subjected him too.

"Itchy," he replied with a pout.

His hand twitched again.

He could feel his skin crawling and it was highly uncomfortable. He wanted to itch, but he knew that would do more harm than good.

"She really wasn't joking."

"Of course she wasn't - you're putting days worth of healing into half an hour."

He took the tissue off the cut. It had scabbed up now. He threw the bloodied tissue into the bin easily.

"You know, if it wasn't for the bet, I would hold your hand."

His hand twitched again, then clenched into a fist.

His eyes clenched shut and his nose twitched as he put in the effort not to raise his other hand and try and sooth that itch. It was a more difficult thing than he had thought it would be.

"Har, har," came the humourless reply.

Just because he was itchy as all get out didn't mean he was losing this bet.

He watched his boyfriend clench his firsts and scrunch his face up. His face split into a grin.

"Struggling a bit there?" he asked in the still sweet tone.

"You're a vicious little sadist."

He shifted around and reached out to push Dick off the bed, grinning despite himself.

At least their teasing wasn't being affected by this little bet.

He laughed then yelled as he was pushed, letting himself fall.

"Yet earlier ago you said I was a masochist." He said as his head popped back up from the edge of the bed, his whole face blushing red. He took more interest in Fleck's hands than his face.
