"And I can withhold crepes and cats if I don't think you like me enough," Sacha teased, nudging the tap on with his wrist.

He washed his hands thoroughly, then dried them on a towel.

"Do you want me to take you home?"

Dick thought of Fleck. It has probably been a couple of hours now since he was begged to come home.

"Please."

He kissed the top of the cat's head.

"Lovely to meet you, Poissen."

She trilled again, nudging the underside of his chin with her nose.

"C'mon, then."

He padded to the front door, slipping his feet into a pair of shoes by the door, and plucking a set of keys off the hooks by the door.

The lift down to the car park was quiet. No one else was around.

Dick old clothes folded in his arms and his trainers back on, he followed Sacha out, content to be in silence now. His headache had dulled, but it was still there.

Sacha passed a couple of cars, stopping at a shiny red corvette.

He made himself comfortable in the leather seats and let the engine roar to life. A press of a button had the roof folding back.

"Ready for a ride, gorgeous?" he purred.

Dick looked at all the cars that even his bank account couldn't reach. Even if it did, it would have left him broke.

He looked around himself as the hood went down. He couldn't help but feel a little uncomfortable, being so low to the ground. Especially after being used to Fleck's family range rover.

Dick didn't say anything, but his face did; it's a car.

Sacha tutted. "You're awful, baby boy. Most people gush at the sight of this boy and here you are looking uncomfortable."

He shook his head in dismay and peeled out of the spot.

The drive to Fleck's place was a slow start. The traffic in town was terrible.

Dick's cheeks warmed and he turned to look out the window. Or, at least, where the window will be.

"What can I say? After six centuries I have seen bigger and better things." Again, he had that teasing tone in his voice.

Sacha tutted.

"You have no taste. Fucking TODAY!" he hissed at the car in front as it took too long to go when the lights turned.

"Fucking learner drivers," he grumbled to himself.

"Be patient," he said with his own tut, "they're learning."

Hypocritical of him, he suffered from road rage. Even occasionally as the passenger.

But he was content taking his sweet time getting home today.

"They should learn faster." He couldn't deal with shitty drivers. They made him irrationally angry.

Once they'd cleared town and gotten into the more suburban area, it was a much quicker drive.

Soon he was pulling up in front of the Pierce house.

"Again, thanks for the pancakes and shower," he said, getting out of the care.

Dick paused, feeling he should say more.

"It was a good night last night, despite the whole crying and throwing up bit, and the fact I can't remember much."

Another pause.

"See you at yoga Sunday?"

"It was a good night. Next time bring your boytoy along. We could all get into so much trouble together."

Sacha's eyes lit up with mischief.

"See you Sunday."

"If I can drag him out of the studio long enough," he said with a laugh.

Another goodbye and he walked into the house, up the stairs and towards his and Fleck's bedroom.

He was going to go straight in, but he decided to knock instead, just to see when his reaction would be.

Trisola greeted Dick at the door, coming out of her room.

The knock earned a reaction he probably wasn't expecting. "Fuck off, Chai. I'm busy," Fleck called out, his voice surprisingly strong.

It certainly wasn't what he was expecting. His face split into a grin.

He tried the doorknob.

The knob gave way under Dick's hand.

Fleck hadn't locked it.

He was also currently laid on the bed, slowly thrusting the toy into himself. He was biting a pillow to muffle his moans.

Dick pulled his lip between his teeth as he silently opened and closed the door.

What a sight. It must be close to three hours, now.

"You should have locked the door," he said, airly. It was now.

Fleck pushed himself up, abandoning the vibrator.

"Chai knows when to fuck off when I tell her to. You haven't learned that skill yet," he teased.

He was glad Dick hadn't learned that skill.

Dick hummed, eyes lingering on Fleck.

He leaned back against the wall.

"I didn't tell you to stop."

"No, I'm mad at you."

He pouted and flopped back down on the bed.

"I've been waiting for two hours." That was two hours of torture he had endured because of Dick.

Dick tilted his head to the side, mischief in his eyes.

"It will be longer if you don't do as I say."

"I'll survive."

Bolster. All bolster.

But he'd go down with this ship. He'd be as stubborn as he could be right to the end.

Dick pursed his lips. Then shrugged.

"Fine, don't, but I am ignoring you until you do as I say."

He picked up his kindle on the side and turned to leave.

"We both know going solo isn't nearly as satisfying. Text me when you're ready to behave."

Fleck picked up his phone and held it up for Dick to see.

He was going to be stubborn and Dick would miss out. Simple.
