A Pizza Thief On The Loose

Khaliq stretched out on the seat of his favourite pizza house in the city with his usual order of BBQ chicken with stuffed crust - the best in town.

His feet were perched up on the edge of the table and one arm was slung comfortably over the back of his seat, holding his mobile to his ear.

He laughed, setting down the bottle of water he had been holding in his other hand and picking up a slice from the plate, biting into it.

With his mouth full, he began speaking into the phone in Arabic.

He paused, waiting for a reply, before snorting another loud laugh.

The sun had gone down not too long ago and he was enjoying his dinner without the mad rush he usually had to get to work. It was his day off and he was more than happy with that.

Fawzi, unfortunately, wasn't with him, though he was having a great conversation with her all the same.

Raisa was out in town again, simply looking around and chilling out, she had moved into the coven and already things were going well, she had a shared room, food and utilities provided for free, she had even found a rather well stocked wine cellar.

As such saving her money was getting easier, everything she got from gigs stayed in her pockets and she was saving a fortune on food at the moment.

Tonight she was dressed slightly more casual with tight skinny jeans with tears up the front encasing her legs, paired with ankle boots and a loose fitting singlet, showing off the floral tattoo sprawling up her right arm and the side of her neck.

A grin spread across her face as she entered the pizza joint, she couldn't resist, last time had been amazing, the food was to die for and seeing Liq sprawled out in his chair was a little bonus.

The woman walked up silently behind and stole a slice from his plate before sitting down opposite him and taking a bite, not bothering to ask.

"Pizza thief," he accused around a mouthful of half-chewed chicken and dough.

He swallowed and muttered something into his phone, ending the call and tossing the phone carelessly onto the counter. It clattered against the plastic surface pitifully. It was an old phone; built to last rather than look good. The poor thing had been abused a lot on its years as Liq's phone.

"Stealing people's pizza like that is a crime here."

He reached out pathetically in a futile attempt to get his stolen pizza back.

With a soft sigh, he waved over one of the staff, ordering a steak and blue cheese pizza. If the two of them were knocking around, one pizza wouldn't last. That and he was craving blue cheese.

"Get on well at the coven?"

Rai shrugged carelessly as he accused her, chuckling despite her mouthful of food.

"I'm starving."

She muttered through the mouthful, it had been a few hours since the last time she ate and that only meant it was time to gorge herself again.

"Well throw me in prison because I am commandeering this pizza."

She replied, taking another large bite from the slice in her grasp.

Raisa gave a small shrug at his question as she swallowed the mouthful.
"No one has attacked me yet, so mission successful, I have to share a room with two other chicks but so far I haven't seen either of them around.

Free food, free place to sleep and most importantly, access to an alcohol selection that puts bottle shops to shame, so I'm not complaining."

Liq smirked.

"I'm sure I can arrange something. I have a lovely set of handcuffs back home that we can put to good use."

The cop routine was was very popular.

"Free booze? Where do I sign up?"

He wouldn't stay at the coven if it saved his life, but free booze definitely sounded good. If he wasn't a strong person, though, the free food would have been a deal breaker for him.

"I could break them~"

She sang as she took another bite of pizza, it would hurt her wrists like a bitch but she was sure she could warp the metal until it gave up and snapped.

"You can always come up and hang out you know, you don't need to stay there, they have a pool and everything, it's awesome."

She replied, chewing contently on her commandeered pizza before finishing the slice off and stealing another.

"It's so good having such a big room to myself at the moment."

She had no idea where her roommates where but she was enjoying the peace while it lasted.

"That's no fun."

He could crash the mansion and mooch off of them. That sounded good. "I'll have to get JC to take me up some day after work and hunt you down so we can hang."

Food, booze and a pool. A recipe for disaster.

He couldn't wait.

"If you get lonely, I'm just a phone call away. The room won't seem so big and lonely with me there occupying your time."

He picked up his own slice, thanking the waiter as he set down the other pizza for them.

"It's not hard to find me, I've been spending most of my time bumming around the gardens, game room, my bedroom or the kitchen."

The kitchen was her personal favourite, it seemed that every time she went in there someone had left a huge batch of cooked food sitting in the fridge just asking to be taken.

"The room wont seem so lonely once I have a nice big television and a console of my own."

She mused, once she had those there was no chance of getting her out of there, unless it was time to eat.

"There's a game room?"

He was tempted to go just to see it, finding Rai be damned.

"Naww, you don't want me around to keep you company? I'm insulted." He picked a piece of chicken off his pizza and tossed it at her. It hit her cheek, leaving behind a little sauce.

"I'm all for bumming around with food and games ignoring the world."

Fawzi didn't allow video games in the apartment so he missed out a lot.

"There is a game room, nicely stocked too, I've been spending most of my nights there, that place has everything, so much better than sleeping out in the woods."

That had been the case for most of the time she had been travelling around, though being curled up under a tree as a wolf really wasn't that bad if you found a nice spot, it was just better being able to sprawl out in her own bed.

"Then come over, we can steal the games room and pull and all nighter just bumming around.
That's assuming you don't work every night."

She didn't know how often he was at the club and it would be no fun having him over if he was going to just fall asleep, though he could always draw on him with marker if he did.

"Tuesday nights off."

He raised his arms in a grand gesture. Today was Tuesday. Good day for him.

"Though I can bum Wednesdays off if I want them." He worked six days a week because he enjoyed it. He could get another day or two off a week easy if he played nice with the boss.

"Next Tuesday I'll come over and we'll spend the night dossing around."

It sounded like a fun night.

He picked up a piece of steak pizza, biting into it with a low groan. He adored the taste of blue cheese.

"Sounds like a good plan to me."

She replied, stealing another piece of the new pizza, taking a bite with a low purr rumbling in her chest, that was good.

"Would it be wrong to marry a store?"

She replied, taking another large bite out of the piping hot slice.

"If this pizza place can handle me having an affair with the bakery down the street then I'm done, single life over."

"Why don't the three of you just get together at The last Stand and have an orgy?"

Good pizza, great dessert, lots of booze and a sexy woman. An orgy he'd happily join in on.

"No need for marriage then and you get all the fun of all three." He grinned at her as be picked up his bottle of water, taking a gulp from it.

"If you need a stripper to join the fray, I'll happily step up to the plate."

Another slice of pizza made it into his hand. He was inhaling this tonight.

"Don't tempt me, it may become a reality."

She replied, kissing the pizza before biting into it with a purr.

"No no no, you're not invited, pizza and pasty, they are all I need now."
And with that Raisa start devouring the pizza as if she hadn't already eaten three...or four slices already, she usually lost count.

"I don't why I waited so long to come to Italy, I belong here."
The food was too good for her to wanted to leave.

"Don't need a sexy stripper tending to your every sexual need," he snorted.

"I'll just crash your little orgy." Appearing uninvited when there was food around sounded fun.

"Italy's a great place," he agreed.

It was a great place. Great food, great people, great job opportunities.

He tossed another chunk of chicken at her. "You're paying for our next date."

"Nope, I can do that myself, plus you would just want to share my food, wouldn't happen, I told you that the other night."

She wasn't actually food crazy enough to take off his fingers but he didn't need to know that, a little bit of fear could do him a world of good.

Rai grunted softly and wiped the sauce spots off of her face, such a waste of chicken.

"I didn't know this was a date, I thought this was me stealing your dinner."
she replied with a chuckle and a smirk.

"I don't date man whores~"
She replied, waving a dismissive hand at him.

"Doesn't the company of your hand get boring?"

He arched a brow at her, grinning. He knew the company of his hand got boring. He liked having someone around to help him out with his sexual needs.

Having a woman around was fun.

"You're doing well with that, aren't you? This is the second date. I usually have my girls in bed by the third."

He bit into his pizza, green eyes glowing in amusement.

"Who said anything about using my hand?"

She replied with a laugh as she looked up at him and shook her head, he had no idea.

"This isn't a date, neither was the other night, pretty sure for a date to be valid both members have to be willing and knowing.

I am neither, so you can give up now."

She replied, shaking her head at him, he was very persistent, she had to give him that much.

His arched a brow, mind buzzing with images.

"Got a favourite toy, then?" This probably wasn't a conversation they should be having in a public place but who cared?

It wasn't like there were any impressionable children around.

As if to kick him while he was down, a little girl ran past their booth towards the bathroom. Oops. Oh well.

He gave a shrug. Give up? Nah, that was';t fun. Flirting with her was fun even if she wasn't playing ball and flirting back at him.

"Sure do, but that isn't any of your business."

She replied with a chuckle as she went for another slice of pizza, she loved rocking up unannounced and taking all of his food as her own.

"To be fair, going on dates would imply dating, and I really don't see you being able to keep a girlfriend for very long, let alone put up with me.

We're friends and this is us hanging out, so keep it in your pants turbo."

He grinned, eyes sliding shut.

Some nice mental images there.

"Not wearing any," he sang, watching as the little girl ran past them again. Kids always had the best timing. This was why he didn't want any. Ever.

His green eyes sparkled.

Hanging with her was fun. A friend that he could flirt with to his hearts content.

"I know it's hard, with you being a stripper and all, but try to be a little more classy, there are kids around."

She replied with a laugh as she finished her slice of pizza and sat back in her chair.

"Just putting this out there, when you get a girlfriend don't make it one of those bitchy ones that hate you hanging out with female friends, that would suck, who would I steal food from then?"

She asked, tilting her head slightly.

"That's far too much effort."

For someone that worked out every day, he was extremely lazy at times. Attempting to pretend he had class was just far too much effort for the lazy Necromancer.

"I'll keep your need to steal people's hard earned pizza in mind when picking out my next girlfriend."

Picking up the last piece of pizza on the table - he had bought it, he was having the past piece - he turned his gaze to her. "You wanna get dessert?"

He was definitely having one. Might as well be gentlemanly and ask her if she wanted something.

"Much appreciated, I refuse to have to resort to buying my own pizza all the time because your girlfriend hates me."

She replied with a little smirk, she had been in similar circumstances before, her bestfriend would girl and then suddenly they couldn't hang out any more because she was threatened.

"Hell yes, there isn't a sane Lycan in the world that would turn down dessert.
Strawberry and white chocolate sweet pizza~"

She almost sang, that was her favourite hands down, white chocolate and strawberries in anything was to die for.

"Next time we hang out here, foods on you."

He'd be out of cash pretty damned soon if he had to pay for her food every time they hung out in town.

They both ate like it was going out of fashion.

"I'm not allowed to talk about sex in public but you can talk about supes?" He arched a brow at her as he waved the waiter to the table again.

He ordered her pizza and a chocolate cake for himself. He didn't always splurge on desserts but when he did, he was loyal to chocolate fudge cake and ice cream.
