One Step Closer

He had done it.

He had finally gotten Aurick to come clubbing with him.

It had taken a lot of begging and pleaded and promises, but he had managed it and he was pleased with himself for being able to do it.

The Elf was clad in a pair of skin tight black leather pants, a bright green fishnet shirt and a loose black midriff shirt. His hair was pulled up into a high ponytail, spikes and streaked with bright green.

"Stop looking so grumpy and have some fun," he laughed, nudging the very unhappy looking Rick before taking a sip of his brandy and coke.

Aurick slumped against the wall and his eyes scanning around the room in a frosty death stare before returning back Fabian.

The obnoxious music pounded into his head and everyone seemed to be dressed like common whores.

"I want to murder every single person in this building."
He grumbled darkly as he stabbed at the ice cubes in his drink with his finger.

He hated this place already, why had he let Fabian drag him here.
The vampire had gone through no effort in getting dressed up much to the Elf's distaste, wearing black skinny leg jeans, combat boots which were only laced up half way and a simple slate coloured shirt with the sleeves rolled up his forearms.

Fabian tutted and shook his head, grabbing Aurick's hand and dragging him out onto the dancefloor.

"Stop thinking murderous thoughts and try to have some fun."

He grinned and he pulled the vampire around in a circle, shoulders moving in a half-hearted dance to the beat of the music.

"Come on, dance, drink and talk to a few people. I'm sure there'll be some nice men that'll take you to their bed if you search for them."

"Dance, drink and talk to people, you just described my version of hell."

He grumbled as he glanced back over to the bar, perhaps if he drank enough to pass out the Elf would leave him alone and let him lay in a drunken stupor in the corner of the room.

"If this place burned down, nothing of value would be lost."
That sentiment was putting ideas in his head, couldn't stay here if the building was on fire.

He refuse to dance, any movements that he made were because of Fabian dragging him around.

"Cheer up a little, won't you? You agreed to come, at least try to pretend you aren't regretting it."

He wasn't overly upset with Rick's lack of enthusiasm for the night. He had expected that he'd hate every minute of trying to socialise.

The Elf lifted a hand and, in a reversal of roles, whacked Rick around the side of the head. "Don't even think about burning down the building."

"I'm not that good of a liar."
He admitted, there was no way he would be able to pretend that he wasn't hating every moment of this.

He growled as Fabian whacked him, sending the Elf a warning glare.

"I think I need another drink."
He replied, quickly downing his, if he was going to survive the night he needed to be intoxicated.

Granted his attitude did not change at all when he was drunk, he just became a little less murderous.

Fabian rolled his eyes.

"At least stop glaring at everything that moves." No one would think about talking to him if he kept glaring at them.

He followed the vampire to the bar, eyes trailing over the people near them. His gaze settled on a group of me laughing and drinking together then lit up.

"I'm going to go off for a bit. Have fun meeting new people."

The Elf dragged his vampire over to the group. "Hey guys." He grinned brightly at the group as he nudged Rick forwards. "My friend here's not having a very good time, do you wanna try and cheer him up a little?"

The humans passed around nods and Fabian grinned, patting Rick on the shoulder. "Don't hurt them," he warned in a soft growl as he pushed himself up on the tips of his toes and pressed a kiss against the vampire's cheek. "Have fun, Rick."

Fabian disappeared off into the crowd, waving at the vampire with a little grin.

The vampire ordered another drink and growled under his breath as he was dragged around.

"Like hell you are, you're not leaving me with a bunch of humans."
He snarled under his breath as Fabian pulled him towards the group, his body tensing as he glared at the Elf through his mop of black hair.

"I have never hated you as much as I do right now."
He spoke harshly as Fabian pressed a kiss on his cheek and scampered off.

He pursed his lips and wiped his cheek on his sleeve, staring threateningly at the group he had been dumped with, he like to see any of them try to talk to him.

Kai slipped through the door, having to squeeze through the crowded room, holding his drink well away from his body. This was a new blazer. He didn't want to get wine on it after having spent so much on it. Perhaps it had been a bad move to get red wine...

His eyes scanned across the room idly as he swirled the liquid in the glass, feeling the warmth at the back of his throat as he slowly became intoxicated. Lingering by the bar, he watched a group of men by far more masculine than himself talk. Well, yell, was more of an accurate description.

He wanted to find a guy tonight. A rare achievement, especially as, going by looks, anyway, most of them seemed to be straight. Normally he would go to a gar bar whenever he felt like picking up men, but it was getting a bit "same old" now. And trying to find a gay guy in a sea of heterosexuals definitely provided more amusement. There was something altogether too predictable about gay bars.

He flicked his long black hair over his shoulders idly, twisting a strand of it around his finger as his eyes flit over the room. They locked in on a blond, a smile tugging the corners of his lips. Judging from the clothes... the way the man held himself, the way he kissed another guy so casually on the cheek... Kai supposed that he was in with a chance.

Flashing a flirty grin at him across the bar, he winked, taking a sip of his wine again.

His eyes flashed past everyone they could, settling on a woman sending him a flirty wink.

Well, well, find a partner for the night wouldn't be all that difficult, it seemed.

He slid through the crowd easily, humming along to the blaring music as he made his way towards the woman, accidentally brushing past a few other women, stroking their necks and shoulders idly, hips sliding against their own.

Why not make it known to a few women that he was single and searching just in case this one didn't go as planned?

"Hey there," he purred softly when he finally got to the woman he had been heading towards.

"Hello." he purred back, swirling the glass in his hand.

Internally, he cringed at the sound of his own voice. It was always something that he had been self-conscious about. His voice was so high-pitched. It sounded ridiculous on a man. As if he wasn't effeminate enough already without having a voice like that.

He tucked a strand of hair behind his ear, crossing and uncrossing his legs and his eyes drifted over the man's body appreciatively.

"Nice piercings."

He grinned widely, rolling his hips, showing off the piercing in his navel with an elaborate belly dance for a few moments.

"I like them too."

This would show him if the woman was a good partner for him. Women were very particular about men that could dance like that. Women either loved male belly dancers or they hated them. Which side would this woman fall on?

"I'm Fabian."

A smile tugged the edges of his lips as hazel eyes locked in on the man's stomach muscles, purring under his breath.

"Kai."

What a show-off. Amusement glinted in his eyes. Not that he minded of course. He was quite enjoying the man showing his body off like that. And there was something incredibly attractive about confident people. Perhaps he was drawn to them because he wasn't that confident in himself.

His leg curled around one of Fabian's, pulling him in closer.

"Want me to give you another?" he purred, eyes glinting.

His arms slid around the woman, pressing against her when one leg curled around him and pulled him closer.

His hips began to move against hers in time with the music still blaring out around them.

"What do you have in mind, Kai?" He purred her name, fingers running through her dark hair.

This was going well. Beautiful woman that wasn't more beautiful that himself pressed against him dancing. He was pleased with events thus far. Hopefully as the night went on, things would get much better.

He purred, leaning up so that his mouth was just hovering over the other man's, hands sliding into the white-blond hair.

"You'll just have to see, won't you?"

One hand trailed over Fabian's jaw and down his chest, stroking over the muscles under the fabric. His hips slowly began to sway against the man's, eyes glinting as he bit his lip playfully.

Fabian was a good dancer. Probably not someone that he would consider a long term relationship with, but for just a night...

It was a very appealing idea.

"Ooh, keeping secrets, are we?"

He bowed his head to kiss along her neck as his hips continued to sway with the beat.

Fabian pulled back a little, gripping the woman's hips and spinning her around, pressing against her back, swaying his hips again.

"I wonder if I can get you to tell me your secrets, Kai," he murmured in her ear.

Kai let out a soft noise somewhere between a sigh and a moan as the man's lips brushed over his neck, head tilting back.

"You like a challenge, do you?"

He didn't tell his secrets to anybody. They had to find out for themselves.

He pushed back against the man, head leaning back on Fabian's shoulders as they danced, pressing his hips against him suggestively with a purr.

"Life's no fun without a few challenges."

His hands slid up the woman's sides slowly, a soft purr sounded in the back of his throat as he kissed along the skin of her neck.

The Elf continued dancing, eyes trailing down over the woman then searching the crowd. No one was interested in what the two of them were doing. Of course. Who cared what two random people were doing when you were focussed on picking up your own bed-partner or getting as drunk as you possibly could.

Kai purred another sultry moan, turning around in the man's arms to press his lips to Fabian's, his hands trailing over the man's chest and back.

The club was crowded around him, and he was amazed that they hadn't had some obscenity yelled at them yet, but at the same time, he was too distracted to particularly care. He could feel the buzz of excitement beginning to rush through his veins as he pushed a little closer, biting down on the man's lower lip.

Time to take the plunge.

"Want to go somewhere quieter?" he murmured, leaning up to nip the lobe of Fabian's ear playfully.

Fabian moaned softly into the kiss.

His bright eyes flickered open when the woman murmured the question to him and nipped his ear.

"Yeah," he replied, eyes turning over the other people around him.

He didn't feel like getting caught for public indecency at the moment. They were much safer in a quieter place.

"Lead the way."

Kai smiled, a little more shyly than usual, taking Fabian's hand to pull him across the dance floor and into the men's toilets.

He jumped up on the side of the sinks, perching there as his legs wound around the man's waist, kissing him deeply as his fingertips traced the soft patch of skin just above the belt of Fabian's jeans.

His hips pressed up against him insistently, a hand raking through the long blond locks

The Elf followed obediently, a low purr rumbling in his chest.

When the woman hopped up onto the sink, he pressed against her, hands sliding up her thighs slowly.

He began grinding his hips slowly against her as he bowed his head to kiss along her neck again, hands sliding under her shirt to stroke her stomach.

He moaned softly, feeling himself starting to become aroused from the motions, kissing Fabian a little more insistently as he began to rock with him. Feeling his breaths starting to speed up, his hand slipped over the man's stomach to unbutton the top of his flies.

His hand slipped inside to give him a couple of long strokes, loving the feeling of the warm, aroused skin in his palm.

Fabian purred into the kiss as the humans movements became more insistent.

His hands stroked up her stomach and around to her back.

The Elf's lips curled into a little grin when they didn't meet with the strip of fabric he was expecting. No bra. She was obviously expecting to get lucky tonight.

His hips jerked against her hand as he gave a low moan.

Kai let out a quiet whimper as the man's hand pulled away from the direction of his crotch, hips pushing upwards needily. Why did Fabian pull his hand away then?

"Don't tease, it's not nice." he murmured against the man's lips, pouting a little.

He pushed his lips to Fabian's again, pulling him in closer as he stroked him a little faster, thumb pressing over the slit of his arousal.
